It's a matter of opinion but one thing Trump is in, is Excellent Health. Trump just had his annual medical checkup and his physician said the examination went "exceptionally well" and that Trump is in "Excellent Health".

Let's face it we all saw this during the election campaign when Clinton looked like she was about to drop dead at one point collapsing as she got out of a car. As Trump said Clinton just didn't have the stamina to be President. Trump has got the stamina needed to be President. One thing you most definitely need if you're (allegedly) fucking a porn star is stamina.

As I said the other day there is a world of difference between fighting the Nazis in a war, and opposing them during peacetime at a protest rally. I've been reading but not commenting on this thread for a reason.

I don't think it's ever right to kill someone just because of what they believe or even what they say. And yes, I include fascists and Nazis in that.

However if you can't condemn those who are threatening people with violence, removal of their basic human rights and their protections under law as equals citizens, especially if the determination is on grounds of religion or race, without also condemning those who are standing firm against such then your moral compass is way off true.

Even if violence is shown by both sides it's not always right to condemn both equally.

You see you've taken everything I wrote and done the usual left wing twist,I never once mentioned that slavery was good and never once said that fighting for freedom was the wrong thing.

The British government started the campaign to make slavery and slave trading illegal at the start of the 18th century by 1750 there'd committed nearly a third of the royal navy on stop and searches on the east coast of Africa, they spent 50 years signing agreements with other countries making it illegal for them to keep trading they almost bankrupted the country in the 100 year long campaign against it, yes it was big business at the time and just like now it's pretty hard saying no to big business.

That's not a defence of the British government, it's context on their actual achievements in stopping what was seen in pretty much only the UK as a barbaric business.

The yanks occupied it for 30 years using brutality and murder to govern.... Not good.

You make a classic mistake. You equate unprincipled semi criminal British fortune hunters and the companies they formed to give some facade of respectability to their enterprises (like the East India company) with the British establishment in the form of the civil service and military. For the most part these were positive influences, the truth of this can bee seen in how many of our former vassal states are now proud to be members of the Commonwealth, have the queen as their head and allow the UK armed forces to recruit in their countries.

As for slavery and the slave trade, you do know that started with Francis Drake and John Hawkins round 1660 and was over with the passing of the Slavery Abolition Act in 1833. So slavery lasted less than 200 years. The suppression of Catholics especially in Ireland can be shown to have a much longer history and more bloody history.
