Corbyn's Momentum youth wing shut down over personal attacks and harassment

Cannock

The Youth wing of Corbyn's far left Momentum group called 'Momentum Youth and Students' has been shut down over claims of 'Personal attacks and harassment'. Momentum chair Jon Lansman said the Momentum Youth and students group had brought Momentum into disrepute. Momentum has a reputation online on various forms of social media for being a vile trolling organisation. Not really surprising when Corbyn's own right hand man shadow Chancellor John McDonnel had 'joked' about Lynching new Tory cabinet Minister Esther McVey, and when asked what he would do if he could go back in time and change one thing he said "I'd go back in time and assasinate Margaret Thatcher." Even Emily Thornberry refused to condemn McDonnel's vile comments. What kind of example are these so called leading lights of the Labour party setting for their youth?

So much for Corbyn's 'kinder, gentler' style of politics which he said would be the hallmark of his leadership when he was first elected leader of the Labour party. The far left Momentum mob have even turned their vile trolling abuse on their own moderate Labour MP's in the past. Not to mention the rapid increase of anti semitism in the Labour party since Corbyn became leader.

The choices in politics at the moment are dire.

We have the most incompetent and talentless Govt that I have ever experienced in my adult life and they are there only because the alternative is probably even worse.

So Momentum decided part of its organisation was a problem, and acted to shut it down.

Isn't that the responsible thing to do?

It's certainly rather better than ignoring the issue and pretending everything was fine.

There are dickheads of every political flavour. But not all organisations do anything about it.

'All' my forum posts, you say. Are you really sure about that? In the last few weeks I've posted links to at least 3 different news sources. On the 'CNN, MSNBC and CBS humiliated' thread i posted a link to RT news, on the 'Brexit to make Britain Greener' thread I posted a YouTube link to footage from the BBC, and on this thread I've posted a link to the Evening Standard newspaper. So clearly your assumption that I get 'all' my news from the same source is wrong.

The problem with all of it is that we have forgotten the fundamental principal of politicians which is that they are all liars.

The tories are doing a bad job but labour’s fanciful ideas will bankrupt the country, unfortunately either way we are screwed and not in a nice pleasant way as so many of us enjoy.

I find it strange how the two major parties are being portrayed at present.

The conservatives supposedly are the strong, stable, safe hands that stand up for British values. Although the fact is every time one of their number is outed for wrongdoing the first and last reaction of the Tories is to protect their own regardless of severity of the wrong and leave the individual in post until the pressure of public indignation is so strong they are forced to resign.

On the other hand Labour seem to move quickly to suspend those accused of wrongdoing when there is evidence to back the accusations up. But are portrayed as the party of weak leadership riddled with cronyism.

Now I may be biased, but this seems back to front to me, and also to be the norm in today's politics. Are we or have we sleepwalked into the dystopian portrayed George Orwell's 1984 and quickly progressing towards something more akin to Aldous Huxley's Brave New World?

It's not just Diane Abbot with her head in the clouds at Labour though. Recently the shadow chancellor John McDonnel said he didn't need to know any figures on the economy because he has an ipad.

I hope it’s the latest model, Apple's policy of slowing down older models could be a massive problem for him ??
