In this thoroughly unpleasant political environment perhaps a bit of comic relief might be in order.

So what do you think or predict might be words or comments that people have said in the last 12 months or so, might actually come back to haunt them.

Who said it, and what did they say...

I will start on the following post

BoJo on Ms Zaghari-Ratcliffe "she was simply teaching people journalism as I understand it."

BoJo on above comment "could have been clearer".

Kellyanne Conway "Our press secretary, Sean Spicer, gave alternative facts."

Donald Trump "Fake News, there was no collusion!"

Donald Trump "Crooked Hilary, lock her up!"

Cannock

Really spoilt for choice from the Labour party but here are a few....

1. Shadow Chancellor John McDonnel while talking about Labours spending plans last week said, "I don't need to know the figures because i have an ipad".

2. Jeremy Corbyn on hearing of brutal dictator President Maduro's election victory in Venezuela, Corbyn said...."This is a cause for celebration".

3. Jeremy Corbyn again during the general election campaign said, "We can win this". Just LOL!

4. Last but not least the gift that keeps on giving none other than Diane Abbott, in an excruciatingly bad election interview on LBC radio, Nick Ferrari asked "How much would these 10,000 extra police officers cost?"

Diane Abbott replied "well, erm, if we recruit the 10,000 policemen and women over a 4 year period, we believe it will cost £300,000".
