Trump 'Long-term investment'

Donald Trump has failed to honour his investment promises to Scotland, former First Minister Alex Salmond has said.

Before his election, the US President said he would spend £1bn building a golf resort in Aberdeenshire.

Ten years after the planning application was called in by the Scottish government, much of that development has yet to materialise.

The Trump Organisation said it had made a long-term commitment and intends to continue building on the site.

It has given BBC Scotland first sight of its plans for the next phase of development on the Menie estate, north of Aberdeen.

.

So lets get this straight, the whole of the UK including Scotland slag Trump to hell, say he is a loser, a cheat and that he is not welcome here and then don't understand why he has slowed down his investment

.

He should shut down all his developments, let them stand and rot and present his middle finger

He was only elected a year ago, what about the other 9 years that he broke his promise? Your assertion that he hasn't built due to the UK slagging him off obviously doesn't hold any water as he has only been president for 1 year out of 10.

So the BBC published this sentence " the whole of the UK including Scotland slag Trump to hell, say he is a loser, a cheat and that he is not welcome here..."?

Anyone, even yourself can look objectively at his history in business ..

Mr Trump loves to sue yet there are countless factual stories of where he has treated people like dirt, has bankrupt decent hard working businesses, discriminated using their colour etc etc and he has not challenged said..

suppose its down to ones personal morality as to whether such practises are acceptable, equally using term's like 'retard' sort of say's much too..

oooh.... 2 things OP...

1) as the others have said he had the other 9 years to have kept those promises.....

2) actually, since he did become president he is suppose to have nothing to do with any companies and his interests were suppose to be put into some sort of "blind trust" as to negate conflict of interest....

....... unless OP you are saying he still has an interest in his company, as that would be against the law!

your whole diatribe would come under "swing and a miss!"

not in new jersey he didn't!... and which up until tuesday had a republican governor and basically the new candidate who swore to carry on the trump mantra got crushed....

bait and switch....anyway.... back to the bit you missed about "his business".....

if you are saying he still has an interest and is controlling what his business is doing as well at the same time being president... thats a conflict of interest which would be illegal....

so again... is that what you are saying?

Frothing bile towards CNN is pretty great indicator of someone being a bit too invested up in a fantasy created by the current US president for their own good.
