Considering the frailties of the current administration do you think we are getting closer to a snap general election?

I don't see the current government lasting another 12 months. Its a proper house of cards.

Do you see any merit in another GE whilst Brexit is going on?

There are too many people who are blinded by Brexit and so will forgive anything and everything as long as Brexit happens.

Just today it seems the Govt want to bring into law the date and time of Brexit in order to keep the believers on track.

That said, there is every possibility that the Govt could lose a vote of no confidence and that would open up all sorts of possibilities.

The Tories are shit scared of Corbyn, their core vote are dropping off this mortal coil and Corbyn's demographic are getting screwed over by austerity etc..

they are stuck in a spiral of weak leadership and a divided party on Brexit(equally there are divisions within Labour too on this)..

they will continue to tear themselves apart as the shambles that Brexit is panning out to be in the short term causes more uncertainty and makes them as the Government holding the ball look less competent..

it really is a mess..

and whilst i like many other's believe in his politics of our infrastructure, utilities, transport etc being owned by us and not private companies i still don't think he is at this time about to become PM..

then again with politics of the last few years who knows..

Latest polls are Conservatives 41%, Labour 43%.

Theresa May needs a victory of some sort from somewhere. It's not going well at the moment, but support is still holding up.

Possibly a vote of no confidence, its unlikely that the DUP will not be damaged by the RHI inquiry. A hard border in Ireland will only strengthen the case for reunification, cause massive disruption to cross border trade and business supply chains. The Leavers have put themselves between a rock and a hard place, as the realities of Brexit become clearer become more apparent and start to become harder to ignore or deny, I can see more and more Tory MPs worry about holding their seats.
