"anyone listen to any?

I can't vouch for it myself, podcasts aren't my thing, but I hear nothing but good things about "Pod Save America" if you're looking for stuff on that side of the world.

There's a series called 'the Political Party' in which a 'political comedian' interviews various well known UK politicians. It's quite good for catching them with their guard down, being more honest then they would in more mainstream interviews.

Do political youtube commentators and activists count?

Wherever the party is!

"Do political youtube commentators and activists count? "

I hope so.

WeAreChange is an underrated alternative news source imo. I'm on the fence with The Young Turks due to Cenks views on the Armenian genocide whilst working alongside one! But they do put out some amazing material though.

There do appear to be a fair amount of crackpots though when it comes to alternative media and it can be difficult to "eat the fish while spitting out the bones"!

I listen to podcasts in the car, or sometimes when I'm out walking, so a different medium to youtube which usually involves some visuals.

I listen to quite a few, the US centred ones include the Daily (NY Times,) Can He Do That? (Washington Post), NPR politics, Stay Tuned With Preet (Preet Bharara) and Rational Security (Ben Wittes)

The UK ones include Analysis (Radio 4) and The Economist). Irish Times Inside Politics is worth for getting a viewpoint from the UK's nearest neighbour

Hi Fabio, there are so many good ones, but the ones to recommend depend on your political leanings. From your posts I am guessing you are open to left of centre views ? So I would try “Pod save America”, “five thirty eight”, “common sense with Dan Carlin” and if you are seriously progressive give “chapo trap house” I try. Good luck !

Life on the Swing Set is good, but about swinging, not politics
