Don't answer hypothetical questions........

.

Seems to be stock answer from politicians.

But in reality...we are knee deep in shit as far as brexit negotiations are going......last thing we need is another delay, even worse...followed by a change in government to another crew who are equally split but say they are equally committed to leaving with a good deal...... it would be like having to start all over again...just changing the clowns doing it....

Probably a Labour win, and then in a few years time we end up like Venezuela. UKzuela.

But all the younger generation that had fallen for the promise of everything for everyone for nothing, and then seen the country bankrupted, will be able to sleep soundly at night in the knowledge that they, their children, and grandchildren will be paying for it.

But never mind, it still won't be their fault, it will be because of Brexit.

More of the usual shite...

We are fucked because 38 years ago we swallowed thatchers message of 'greed is good' and have followed it slavishly since then. As a result young people cant afford to buy a house, the NHS is on its deathbed having been sold off piecemeal, we are an island with foundations of coal that import the stuff, that has no shipbuilding industry, that although we used to make the best steel in the world has no steel industry and has allowed banks and financial institutions to buy up our manufacturing industries with our deposits in their banks and insurance companies and then sell them to our competitors after stripping the pension funds of their surpluses and transferring the wealth to the most wealthy who then moved it all overseas. Yep, it is all the fault of the socialists, nothing to do with the greed unregulated capitalism engenders.

You just keep telling yourself that as you walk past our dispossessed and the former members of our armed forces homeless and begging on the streets. Or when you next hear of people dying on trolleys in hospital corridors or lying waiting for an ambulance that was not able to unload its patient because A&E was full.

With luck you may get an opportunity to experience the misery that 38 years of Thatherism has inflicted on us all. Maybe then you will remove your head from your arse and wake up to who the real villains are.

"They wont "

35 years ago all those council tenants snapping up cheap council property did not think they would be the ones paying the price. How many of them (or their children) are now renting former council properties at inflated rents? And how many who thought they were quids in when their national insurance contributory pensions were opened up to the free market are now wondering where their 'pension pot' that they were so fast to move to Equitable Life (or insurance company of choice) are wondering where has gone to?

As I say with luck every blowhard working class tory will get to experience the reality of what they have been supporting sooner than later. Then maybe we can move politics back to a place where the government of the day runs the country for the benefit of the population rather than the top 1%

But we have now got the modern version of "pre-fab" - 1st one handed over to New tenant. It is just over 17sm a bit compact but has everything and only cost £40k. The solution to social housing needs - i would assume they are looking at a bigger version for families? So a 1950's solution for the 21st century! Why didn't anyone think of it sooner?

Didn't you once post on here bragging about how you'd overcharged a health facility for tiling work?

If anything's bankrupted the country it's selfish greed like that.

Not me I'm afraid... I've never been a tiler. I do vaguely remember that post, but can't recall who the poster was.

So, I've not overcharged the NHS, not selfish, not greedy, and not bankrupting the country.
