The Telegraph is reporting that Boris' allies are claiming that Boris "will just say no" if she tries to sack him.

Does May have any credibility left? Does this count as a coup? Could this government get any worse?

Another misquote..... not sure if it is the Telegraph or yourselves.

The report I saw said that if she "asks" him to move posts he will say no. Then she can either leave him where he is or sack him.....which could then trigger a leadership election.

Either way he is playing her weakness.....but not quite as your OP states it!

No.

They could charge him with some jumped up terrorist charge -or wait for him to pop overseas and revoke his passport.

Yes.

Good way to fling clods of mud at May, to suggest something that's not possible and allow others to believe it.

Boris wants to distance himself as much as possible from the Brexit game so as to be clear of the fallout and emerge unharmed. And then, onwards and upwards.
