"La Liga are just as corrupt as Fifa As La Liga permitted Las Palmas to place a Spanish flag on their shirts, a decision they defended by claiming that this showed to the public the 'unity of Spain Now cast your minds back to the Scotland vs England game and Fifa saying the poppy should not be worn as its political which is fucking utter bullshit and was sick that both teams were told not to wear it thank fuck both teams said fuck you Fifa " La Liga is the Spanish league, right? And you are suprised that they let a Spanish team, wear a Spanish flag, in what I presume was a match played in Spain? Thats quite different from the entirety seperate organisation FIFA, who made a decision about two national teams wearing not flags, but symbols of a charity?

Yes La Liga is a Spanish league who forced a club to play a game of fucking football and FC Barcelona asked for the game not to go ahead for safety reasons Then La Liga say Las Palmas can wear the Spanish flag to what show unity in Spain. Now if Fifa say the Poppy is politcal which we all know its not Then giving a Football club the ok to wear a Spanish flag on their top so show unity because there is a Catalan referendum going ahead that = being politcal duh yes i know Fifa and La Liga are different But i should expect Fifa to go fine La Liga and Las Palmas for putting a flag on their top in political move to show unity I can see why the game was behind close doors you have Catalan fans watching their team play a team with a Spanish flag on the day of the Catlan referendum.

"FIFA will not allow politics to interfere in football. Whilst the Spanish flag and the date was very small, I expect to see Las Palmas face disciplinary action. You could argue that the sovereign flag isn't political, but in this context, it obviously was." Given the circumstances it was designed to be both political and provocative

"La Liga "didn't force" FC Barcelona to play the game. FCB could have pulled out if they felt so strongly but they obviously decided that the potential loss of 6 points was more important to them." Why impose a 6 point penalty when the game clearly needed cancelling for safety reasons? You don't need to answer that question by the way - I already know the answer
