Agree. Some Remoaners on here have been very loudly saying that they don't want to meet Brexiters. I've had no problem in blocking those people as they have no interest in meeting me as a proud Leave voter.

People we just disagree with = no block.

People who get personal and start chucking insults around on here = block.

People who get really nasty = block and report.

In total we only have around a dozen on our block list and of those only one is because of the forums.

He knows who he is and why.

Personal choice. Having received abusive PM's on here for things written in the forums we actively block people who we know we are not going to get on with and simply prevent any possibility of a PM coming. Not only that, I really don't even want a "nice" message from someone who has nothing in common with us.

Being a part immigrant family we only need to be told once that..,, "Oh, it's not people like you who pay your taxes who are the problem ...."

I've blocked some people from in this forum. But not because of their political views. There are a wide range of views in here, and some people put them across sensibly and are good to have a lively debate with.

Others spew venom and are very vindictive, and start insinuating racism / stupidity / xenophobia at the first opportunity. Those are on the block list, as I don't want anything to do with people like that.
