Is Boris trying to force things so that he's left with 'no choices' but to resign from Theresa Mays cabinet? Potentially knifing her in the back, whilst she is on thin ice. Damaged goods sees it as a chance to get the job he craves and leave brexit to be more of the mess he's helped make it.

True but I believe she put him in that role to punish him. But he has the upper hand.

May placing Boris in that role in order to punish him by having him fail to live up to his pre-referendum promises shows a level of political cunning it is clear that she doesn't possess.

The reality is She's winging it because there is no plan, and she's too politically weak to deny brexiteers what they want.

I think that she wanted to hang a weight around Boris, Fox and Davis' necks and make them carry the burden of Brexit. Boris is just the most politically astute of the 3 and after giving it a year wants to get well away from it before the Brexit iceburg really sinks the UK. After all, it was Boris who said that 'Brexit will be a titanic success'.

In 18m time when the government and the country are in complete disarray, everyone will have forgotten that Boris was ever Foreign Sec.

May has always been a very slick political operator. Her nickname in Westminster is the submarine because no one sees her coming until she sinks you. Unfortunately for her Boris is a clown and like all clowns is in reality a very nasty and scary individual with perfect timing and fantastic acrobatic skills. As a result Boris has dropped depth-charges on May and for once she is the one being hunted.

Her performance in the big chair suggests otherwise.

Frankly, this notion of competent and clever May is mostly projection, people hoping that someone who knows what in the hell they're doing would be at the helm during the brexit shitnado.

He's smarter than Fox and Davis. Farage has bailed, he doesn't want anything to do with it. Even Sky news is reporting on what a fuck up its becoming like yesterday with their report on the automotive industry. The talks are being delayed, even though we have a very short time scale to get them done. The permanent Secretary of the Department for Exiting the EU has left his post. While May is out of the country the cabinet is falling apart and throwing each other under the bus. The are threats of resignations then denials of threats. One cabinet member is saying 'brexit will be the easiest thing in the world' while other cabinet members are saying "no one said it would be easy". The road haulage association said that there are going to be daily tailbacks stretching from Dover to Newmarket.

Seriously, can you not see all of this?

One thing is for certain - Boris only has interest in himself - his massive ego and the clown tactics that are tired and sickening - at the level of that other sicko in the USA, should at least show up the brexit lot who bought into his crock, just where his focus is.

This in-fighting is the signature of the conservative party, which is again full of rabid ideologues and narcissists with little competence.

It's party season and I think it's a strategic power play, made after sitting on his festering anger for revenge against May.
