Google "The Newsroom America not the greatest country".

Substitute US for UK.

We are where we are because many of us haven't worked out that we are not who we think we are and the world doesn't think of us the way we think that they do.

What do we do that makes us "great"? What does the world want that only we can give them?

If you were another country what would you buy from us? What could you learn from us? What do other countries already own and have an interest in? What do we actually owe to others.

This will be more interesting if you can avoid mentioning the following:

Brexit, remoaner, traitor, hating our country, because it is, prove it isn't, it's shit/a shithole

Our Universities are amongst the best in the world. Research facilities are worth their weight in gold.

We seem to have taken on the mantle of being "the world's policeman". Maybe it's because we have the best armed forces, coupled with fairness and tolerance, that we can do that.

Migrants love this country. We are open, religiously tolerant, and offer opportunities to many. Yet, we can still poke fun at ourselves and be self indulgent at times.

There's a few to be going on with.

They are and were. Why do you think that is? What will keep.them that way?

There's a complacency there and I wonder how engaged you are with university research.

You second paragraph is spot on but don't you think the anti-immigrant rhetoric has rather changed that?

The English language and the existing communities are the main draw for migrants or does that not play a part?
