" Well the Brexit negotiations have been going so well I dont know why anyone would complain about them. Davis and his team have been widely praised as being efficient and prepared. And the UK has been firmly in control over how talks have proceeded. The EU has crumbled on the key decisions so far. And with the benefits of Brexit on the horizon dozens of EU companies are moving to the UK and bringing thousands of jobs with them. Alls well in Brexitland!

"What travel restrictions?" EU have said that if there is not full freedom of movement after brexit then UK ex pat living in the EU will not be able to move around the EU freely. So Brits splitting their time and living in multiple countries depending on season or whatever are going to have to pick one and stay there or maybe even move back here if the negotiations go really bad...

"Nonsense" Try reading this: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-latest-news-uk-citizens-eu-live-abroad-europe-lose-right-move-member-states-a7851381.html And I will try to find the recording of what was actually said which in my view is a lot more direct.

And what is wrong with getting a visa for each country that you work in if that is what is required? Will you be moving to the EU in 2019 so that you're not stuck here? Or won't you be able to access your dole abroad?

And that if the CUNT (conservative and Unionist Negotiating Team) fail to reach a satisfactory deal with the EU where NI is concerned then its departure will suddenly be very much another iceberg waiting to further hole the good ship UK. Or do you think having demanded freedom to decide our own fate outside the EU England will be able to legitimately demand that Scotland and NI remain a part of the UK against the will of the majority in those 2 countries?

The UK voted for Brexit in 2016 and now in the general election in 2017 the SNP have gone backwards not forwards losing seats in Westminster. I'm afraid the real evidence just doesn't back up your claims, independence for Scotland is looking less likely now after the general election result. Same in Northern Ireland the DUP had a good general election and have gained extra funding for Northern Ireland through the deal with the Tories so Northern Ireland leaving the UK is no more likely now than it was before Brexit.

"What travel restrictions? EU have said that if there is not full freedom of movement after brexit then UK ex pat living in the EU will not be able to move around the EU freely. So Brits splitting their time and living in multiple countries depending on season or whatever are going to have to pick one and stay there or maybe even move back here if the negotiations go really bad... Nonsense Really? If you are a non-EU citizen, and you apply for a work visa to an EU country, can you only work in the country you applied, or in all EU countries? Who cares? I'm retired and married to a German. And what passport do you have? If he's retired then I don't think he'll be applying for a work visa, do you? So what does it matter? If he was 16-30 he would probably care... 70% of that age group cares: They understand the benefits of being a citizen in 28 different countries instead of only one. How narrow minded of the 70% then. I'd rather be a citizen of the world, which I am. Aren't you? Youre a meaningless phrase? Next time youre at a border tell them youre a citizen of the world and see how that goes. Maybe try to understand what it means before posting " Op: 70% of 16 - 30 year olds understand the benefits of EU citizenship You: how narrow minded Im a world citizen You equated a bullshit phrase with actual legal citizenship. Maybe you should try understanding the difference and maybe you wont embarass yourself when you post.

"It's fairly close ! The people were not that informed of the specifics of what was being voted upon and were completely ignorant of what actions would result from the referendum. I'd expect people to be more informed in the stone ages. " I give the British electorate more credit than that. People were informed and people did do their own research and voted according to their own circumstances, it just so happens after reviewing all the evidence more people decided Leave is the better option. I think your post highlights yet again the elitist, snobbish and haughty attitude Remainers have towards other people who hold a different opinion.

No one has shown ignorance though and the poster you are referring to never mentioned living or working in the EU after Brexit, he only mentioned travelling in the EU after Brexit. There is a world of difference between just travelling around the EU say for a holiday and living and working in the EU. Frankly if you can't differentiate between the 2 there really is no hope for you at all. Try re-reading the thread. It was will's response to _oubepo's post, where he had is location down as 3 separate countries that prompted the response that things will change it we leave the EU. It doesn't say he's just travelling around. So to quote you, frankly if you can't differentiate between the 2 there really is no hope for you at all." "What travel restrictions? Aren't you? As of now, Im a citizen of 28 countries: My rights are very much the same in all of them and that I really enjoy." Well start packing cause that 28 will become 27 . . . oh and don't forget to cancel your milk and papers ))

"It's fairly close ! The people were not that informed of the specifics of what was being voted upon and were completely ignorant of whart actions would result from the referendum. I'd expect people to be more informed in the stone ages. I give the British electorate more credit than that. People were informed and people did do their own research and voted according to their own circumstances, it just so happens after reviewing all the evidence more people decided Leave is the better option. I think your post highlights yet again the elitist, snobbish and haughty attitude Remainers have towards other people who hold a different opinion. .. Spot on. You may give them more credit, yet at every turn the Brexiters show their ignorance about the issues involved, including in this thread. That goes to show that their own research was woefully lacking. Need I point out again that education levels was one of the biggest splits between leavers and remainers, and that the majority of people formally trained in research skills voted to remain? Where has the ignorance been shown on this thread? I think that's more a matter of your own personal opinion rather than fact. As for your point about remainers being more highly educated one of the other splits in the vote was a majority of the older generation voted Leave and older people are generally wiser with more life experience and make better decisions than younger people. Ignorance of things such as the impact Brexit will have on British citizens living in the EU. I've not backtracked on anything, what makes you think educated people did the research on the EU referendum but older people didn't? Really bizarre for you to think that but your thinking on a lot of topics is bizarre to say the least. I could just as easily say so now you are backtracking and saying remainers didn't actually do any research, they just instinctively knew the best course of action because they had more qualifications. You are really struggling to follow this thread aren't you? The people who have had formal training in research methodology, tended to vote remain. The people untrained in research methodology, tended to vote leave. It's therefore likely that the people with the training, did more research, and were more successful in their research, than people not trained. Have I dumbed that down enough for you to comprehend? Or are you still struggling? Pure nonsense as per usual from you. There is no evidence at all to suggest remainers did more research, that is just purely speculation and assumption on your part. The only one struggling here is you now that your own bizarre logic has been turned against you, even when it's dumbed down you still don't get it. You just make yourself look haughty, snobbish and elitist wallowing in your own self importance to assume one group of people did more research on it than any other group. The lack of research is self evident from their ignorance of the topics at hand. As has already been pointed out to you. " It hasn't been pointed out though, as has been explained to you no Brexiter mentioned working or living in the EU they only said travelling in the EU. It was remainers who jumped on a comment and then they started talking about living and working in the EU. There is a clear difference between living and working in the EU compared to just travelling (on holidays). Over a million more people voted leave than Remain. That suggests the leave campaign was a better campaign and made the more convincing arguments. Keep sucking on those sour grapes I'm sure you'll get used to the taste eventually.

" Education levels was the biggest indicator of which way people voted on Brexit, more than party, age or anything else. And if youre wondering about ignorance on Brexiters about Brexit just cast your mind back to your bizarre claim of Davis losing the battle of the summer and you thinking it was a win. Or any instance where you've had to have the same points explained to you a dozen times before it sank in You mean like the point about British and EU citizens rights being a priority for the UK as they tried to get a deal with the EU on it before article 50 was triggered. This has been explained to you over a dozen times but it appears it's still hasn't sank in. " That would be the exact point I had in mind when I said you needed things explained to you repeatedly. May offered a shit deal before A50 was triggered and the EU said no negotiations until A50. Which by the way is exactly how it transpired. Some leverage the Tories had. The EU also saw citizen rights as a priority. So it was given priority. That the UK also agreed was nice but irrelevant and thats why the divorce bill is also a priority despite the fact that the Tories didnt want it to be. And the UK wanted the future relationship to be a priority but it was put into the 2nd phase instead. So,to explain it again to you: When the EU and UK agree somethings a priority, then its a priority. When the EU say somethings a priority and the UK says it isnt, then its a priority. When the UK says its a priority and the EU says it isnt, then its not a priority. Your whole argument is that the UK can get its way on every issue as long as the EU agrees. And when theres disagreement the EU wins and the Tories lose. Not very inspiring...unless your on the EU side of course. I look forward to explaining this to you again in a weeks time

Some of these so called highly educated Remain voters when interviewed on the march thought Angela Merkel was leader of the EU commision, frankly I've seen better educated things wondering around farmyards than many who went on that March.

Ignorance of things such as the impact Brexit will have on British citizens living in the EU. So now you are backtracking and saying the brexiters didn't actually do any research, they just instinctively knew the best course of action because they are old and wise. So to quote you, frankly if you can't differentiate between the 2 there really is no hope for you at all. I'm sure I'll get an apology from Centaur about this mix up. There is nothing for me to apologise for so you won't be getting one. So you think that if someone puts their location as Spain Portugal France, then they are travelling, not living or working? An apology is due, but not expected. You got yourself muddled up, but are too embarrassed to admit your mistake. Not muddled up and not embarrassed about anything here. An apology is NOT due at all and why are you assuming Puablo who made that comment is a British citizen? As far as i can see he never actually stated his nationality on the thread he could be a citizen of Spain, Portugal or France for all you know and that's why he has it on his profile? You are assuming and speculating about so many different things on this thread it's unreal. " Right, I'll take you back the the post in question. "Ah the voice of reason from Spain, Portugal and France... Not after Brexit tho, or had the EU travel restrictions on UK nationals living it the EU after 29/3/19 sailed over your head as you laugh at the bitter remoaners?" You said "No one has shown ignorance though and the poster you are referring to never mentioned living or working in the EU after Brexit, he only mentioned travelling in the EU after Brexit" So lets go back to what Will said "...travel restrictions on UK nationals living i[n] the EU after 29/3/19..." Then back to you "...never mentioned living or working in the EU..." Now back to Will "UK nationals living i[n] the EU" Can you see where you f@£%ed up yet?

"No I absolutely disagree with you. Your assumption that Leave voters didn't do any research is purely speculation, you have no evidence to back it up. It was also cleared up on the other thread the other day that the figure on the big red Leave bus is the correct Gross figure, which vote leave chose to use instead of the net figure. The 'let's fund our NHS instead' slogan on the bus was a suggestion and not a statement of fact. Wrong again. It was shown that the statement "We send £350M to the EU" was false. Why are you still trying to say it is true? Pretty much everyone, including the Dominic Cummings has said it was a lie. Most people have moved on. Why do you still trying to argue black is white? -Matt It's the correct GROSS figure! This is just a fact. " The statement on the bus is "We send £350m to the EU". The UK does not send £350m because the rebate is applied before any money is sent. So at no point is £350m sent to the EU. Can we get a count on how many times these issues need to be explained to you Centaur?

"I was always voting to leave no matter what either campaign said just like any other issue there are always 2 sides and 2 views one winner one loser this time I was on the winning side. See Centaur, proof that no research was undertaken. " Brexitors usually vote first and think after, ops lol.

" How much is SENT to the EU Centaur? SENT. As in how much money moves from the UK to the EU? What is the total cash amount that leaves the UK to go to Brussels? The rebate is included before the money is SENT to the EU. That means the cash amount of the rebate is NOT SENT. The amount that is SENT is not including the rebate. The slogan on the bus was describing the figure SENT to the EU. It explicitly said SENT to the EU. So once again, is £350M per week SENT to the EU or not? Ill wait patiently while you either ignore this or avoid answering again and then I can explain it to you again.

"REBATE - Payback, or an amount of money that is returned to you. Would some people here like to rewrite the dictionary?" Perhaps 'discount' would be a better word to describe it, I agree. But the fact of the matter is the rebate is applied before the money is sent to the EU. So no matter how hard Centaur and others wish it to be true the statement 'We send £350M to the EU' just simply isn't true. The Vote leave campaign knew this well before they unveiled their bus and yet they still did it. That is knowingly deceiving the public. And as Dominic Cummings himself has admitted, he believes that the £350M figure was a key part in the success of the leave vote. -Matt

"£350 isn't true ok great now can the remainers talk about something else now it's been over a yr ffs " Sure lets move on to more current events since I think even Centaur will be able to wrap his head around the facts now. The Broadcasting industry is the latest to say that theyve been forced to look into moving operations from the UK to the EU. Thousands more jobs at risk, a lot more taxable income lost to the exchequer and since tv/films are typically not included in EU trade deals its not one likely to be fixed. In June export volumes fell 4.9%, manufacturing is continuing its stagnation and construction is dropping. Imports have increased 6.3% vs export growth of 6% since the Brexit vote massively undermining the idea that the fall in the pounds value will improve competitiveness. Consumer confidence is down, spending at a 4 year low. New car sales are down 4 months in a row. Bank of England is indicating a 20% drop in business investment. Yay Brexit!!

"£350 isn't true ok great now can the remainers talk about something else now it's been over a yr ffs " Remainers aren't talking about it. It has been known to be a lie for over a year now. It is just leavers that keep trying to pretend it wasn't a lie, despite being told repeatedly. It has come up on two threads now in both cases raised by leave voters who didn't know what they were voting for. -Matt

At least there are some intelligent people on here who know how to read a Dictionary and understand that the rebate is included in the £350 million GROSS figure. Remainers talk as if the rebate is invisible or doesn't even exist, it's laughable to see how they are twisting themselves inside out over this. Personally I really don't care how much they think the figure is, for me 1 penny would be 1p too much to send to that steaming pile of shit called the EU.

"Does any barrel scraping remainer think for one minute that if it had said on the side of a bus that we send £250 million a week to Brussels then people who voted to leave would have thought wow thats a bargain and voted to remain? Not a chance, the result would have been exactly the same" Nope, you are right, probably wouldn't have made any difference. As Centaur demonstrated above some people are incapable of rational thought about the topic regardless of the figure. But it does beg the question... why did the leave campaign lie then? Why not use an accurate figure? -Matt

So now you are backtracking and saying the brexiters didn't actually do any research, they just instinctively knew the best course of action because they are old and wise. Right, I'll take you back the the post in question. I'm clearly referring back to Boubepo's comment and not Wills. You've clearly got your wires crossed here. " Well now you know exactly the post that I am talking about rather than your incorrect assumption about what I was talking about, and your proven lies that the poster never said living in the UK, when indeed that's exactly what they said. So, moving on from your mix-up, do you agree that Brexit will indeed impact British citizens living in EU countries?

"Does any barrel scraping remainer think for one minute that if it had said on the side of a bus that we send £250 million a week to Brussels then people who voted to leave would have thought wow thats a bargain and voted to remain? Not a chance, the result would have been exactly the same Nope, you are right, probably wouldn't have made any difference. As Centaur demonstrated above some people are incapable of rational thought about the topic regardless of the figure. But it does beg the question... why did the leave campaign lie then? Why not use an accurate figure? -Matt" They did

Especially now the EU has been forced to reveal some of its expenses through what is the equivalent to the EU freedom of information act. You can ALL say what you want on here but not one thing you say will change anything. We had our chance to change the result of the referendum on 8th June all we had to do was vote Lib-Dem give them a majority and we would be staying in the EU.

"Got to love the negative predictions on travel restrictions throughout Europe after 2019 Clearly the people making these ridiculous assumptions don't travel around Europe or cross Schengen borders Of course you will have to flash your passport as you enter the Schengen Zone but you do that already as Britain isn't part of the Schengen Agreement Once inside you will travel across borders as freely as the rest of us - Why? Because placing restrictions on Brits would mean checking everyone's passport and against the principle of Schengen I just drove across a Schengen border this morning - doing 100kmph and I could have had Kim Jong Un in the passenger seat! Some might be dissaponted to hear this as it goes against your negative spin but take it from me and Mr Kim Jong Un ...... The days of Check Point Charlie are long gone - At Schengen borders there are no checks, no restrictions, no queues, no passport control - you don't even have to slow down in your car!! " you might be in for abit of a shock i think ...as someone who is a permanet resident here and not a eu citerzen i can tell you its a diffrent ball game when you que in the non eu nationals line ..

If you are talking about here (as the UK) then I think it might be you who are in for a shock - as the only border control likely to tighten restrictions on entering will be the UK My home countries are part of the Schengen Zone - I drive through the border at the same speed as Moroccan workers, Japanese tourists and fellow Europeans - which is approx 100kmph Suggesting free flowing motorways between countries will somehow have a separate lane to filter Brits and check their passports is nonsense Not all EU countries are part of Schengen and not all Schengen countries are part of the EU - If the Schengen group decides to change our border policy - it will be for security reasons (terrorism) not because the UK leaves the EU

"It's fairly close ! The people were not that informed of the specifics of what was being voted upon and were completely ignorant of what actions would result from the referendum. I'd expect people to be more informed in the stone ages. " I don't see credible evidence at all to support that, in the slightest!

Claiming to be "democrats" but the irony is their first act would be to seek to overturn a democratic decision! More to follow!" So basically another version of the Lib dems then.....who incidentally just took a hammering in the general election getting less than 15% share of the vote, lol. A new party with the same message as the Lib dems would split the lib dem vote so they get even less overall vote share next time.

Maybe try to understand what it means before posting Op: 70% of 16 - 30 year olds understand the benefits of EU citizenship You: how narrow minded Im a world citizen You equated a bullshit phrase with actual legal citizenship. Maybe you should try understanding the difference and maybe you wont embarass yourself when you post. Next time you're at a border tell them you're a citizen of the EU and see how that goes " I won't need to tell them because it says "European Union" on my Passport, right above were it says "United Kingdon of Great Britain & Northern Ireland". I see absolutely no advantage in changing either or both. However it seems more and more likely that it will be either neither or more probably both.

" I was always voting to leave no matter what either campaign said just like any other issue there are always 2 sides and 2 views one winner one loser this time I was on the winning side. " Unfortunately for you there will be no winners from BREXIT either in the UK or the EU. By voting leave you were putting yourself on the loosing side regardless of the result.
