A welcome ally for the UK may emerge in Poland.

The EU today threatened Poland with invoking an article 7, which would take away certain voting rights for Poland, within the EU framework. Poland seems to be on a collision course with the EU over proposed changes in Poland to their judiciary. Reading between the lines, it seems that Poland want to run more of their country without EU interference.

To invoke the article 7, it would need all the other members to ratify it. However, Hungary have said that they will refuse to do so (Hungary itself having problems with the EU over treatment of migrants.)

Poland is a fast growing economy, and the recent visit of members of our Royal family, may well have gained the UK some much needed friends in that region.

Nope, wrong.

Poland are wanting to change the Law so the judiciary are controlled by the government and not be independent.

Supprised May hasn't tried it on here in the UK.

The main issue for Poland in Brexit is making sure it's citizens are treated well.

No, May is going down a different route to achieve the same results...

Why do you think May wants to abolish SFO is being and replaced with National Crime Agency? That's right the SFO is an independent investigation agency while the NCA is under direct ministerial (political) control (you don't need to control the judiciary and court if you control what is investigated).
