Oh, this is hilarious. If ever you doubted the intelligence of the Britain First fuckwits...

So a day or so ago, someone by the handle of 'hrtbps' on Twitter wrote a satirical piece for a website joe.co.uk on Jeremy Corybn going to Glastonbury and 'snubbing armed forces day'. This has already been mentioned on this forum and already shown to be an amazing piece of rightwing spin of events.

The article was/is on the front page of their website (if not search for 'WHY JEREMY CORBYN IS A DISGRACE FOR CHOOSING GLASTONBURY OVER ARMED FORCES DAY') and has been shared over 10,000 times.

So the braniacs at Britain First have spotted it and somehow not realised it is satire despite some gems such as:

"Armed Forces Day, a British tradition for generations ever since its inception in 2008, took place this weekend."

and

"If you ask me, Glastonbury is an easy gig for Corbyn. Anyone can engage a crowd of tens of thousands of young people in a political discussion at a music festival. Let’s move the goalposts and see how he’d do. How would he go down at the Conservative Party Conference, for example? Or in my house, where I hate him?"

They have only gone and plagiarised the article verbatim and put it on the first page of the Britain First website (currently 3rd article on the first page)!

What muppets.

Sods law, a day later, and just after I post about it on here they have finally realised and just this minute removed the article from their website.

Look for user 'hrtbps' on twitter if you want to see screenshots of it, etc.

Google's cache still has a copy of the page on the Britain First website before they pulled it.

As a foreigner im not in favour of them, but this sort of thing happens all the time. Wasn't it the wall street journal who fell for a spoof written by a troll about intersectional feminism just a few weeks back?

If we were strict about that we'd have to move all the pro Brexit posts there too.

Yep, also not long after Donald Trump won the Presidency CNN (now commonly known as the fake news channel in America) ran a story about a tweet on a Parody Reuters twitter account as if it was a real genuine story. They failed to spot the twitter account was a Parody of the real Reuters twitter account, lol. Not sure why anyone would expect anything different from the brain dead muppets at CNN fake news though.

Britain First...

The place for dicks who have and will never serve to show how patriotic they are...

A bit like the cunts who stand for the National Anthem and claim anyone who does not (while out of uniform) is a disloyal traitor...

By "commonly known as" you mean "as referred to by Donald Trump and no one else"? The man that calls everything that is not a glowing report on him "fake news". The man whose own lawyers say they take extra notes because he lies so much?

Here in Southend we have a satirical website. They did a spoof article of hot cross buns not having the cross on so we didn't upset Muslims.

Britain First and the EDL were all over it. Was so funny.

Not funny that the EDL thought it was a true story when it clearly wasn't? Yes, it's fucking hilarious.

Then you have no sense of humour.

What kind of stupid website wants to stir up racial/religious tension? Do you people ever think?

Is it the word "Parody" that CNN doesn't understand and that's why they tried to run a news story from a Parody Reuters twitter account.

Neither. Now let me spell it out for you as I know you're a bit slow. If a website puts out shit like this as some kind of 'satire' 'spoof' 'joke' when there are already enough real examples of 'political correctness' about and some knobhead from the EDL or whatever believes it and thinks 'right I've had just about enough of this shit' and goes out and hurts or kills a muslim, is that still funny to you? Or hilarious as some half wits described it? Is there not enough anti muslim feeling as it is without winding people up? Jeez, who really are the racists here
