A story you are unlikely to find on the pro-union MSM.

Well, Mr Weir, where does your main loyalty lie?

To your fellow former miners, whose livelihoods and communities were destroyed by Thatcher's determination to smash the miners' union and dismantle the coal industry?

The labour party, of which you are an office bearer?

The best interests of the people of Scotland? (Oh, that wouldn't be it, would it, with you being a SLAB apparatchik?)

No to all of the above - when it comes down to it, it's a case of unquestioning loyalty to the union of the crowns!

Speculating here, but knowing the nature of the beast.....

Submitting this to the small test: Computer says urgh! Heavy traces of orange lodge detected. Extremely hazardous to societal peace, equilibrium and civilisation. Isolate and avoid.

Article is in online publication The National, but the headline describes a damning situation.

A balance to the bias of the gutter press which dominates the MSM. Which you probably consider to be balanced.

How are things in the ruins of the SLAB bunker, BTW?

Fighting among yourselves, or are you exhausted from canvassing for your tory mates?

And it is most noteworthy that you do not deny the story.

Cannock

Election tactics are nothing new and are happening all over the country. It's not just in Scotland, but I do agree the union parties (Lib/Lab/Con) are tactically trying to oust the SNP by working together in some seats.

In England and Wales ukip have not stood in some seats to help the tories and the Greens have not stood in some seats to help Labour and the Lib dems. It's really nothing to be surprised about and this sort of thing happens in politics and elections.
