Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

There should be another box under the others labelled 'None of the above' with a list of words that could be ticked ie..Incompetent, dishonest, hypocrite, expenses fiddler etc. This box could then be counted and the total used as an informative number instead of the 'spoiled ballot' figure which is actually meaningless as it doesn't distinguish any of the different ways the ballot paper has been spoiled.

I'm guessing that the Tories will win by a small margin, and need to form a coalition to create a government... if anyone will have them?

But we'll know in a couple of days.

What I do know is that I'll be glad to have a but of peace from the non-stop Corbyn Bashing that's been going on since the election was called... at least Labour fought their campaign on their policies.

Get out and vote.

I think Theresa May (it's hard to say it will be the Conservatives since their own advertising has it that it's THERESA MAY and the Conservative Party - in teeny letters) will win, but she won't have anywhere near the majority she wanted.

So she will have wasted millions of tax payers money (I think it's around £10+m for every election just on the official paperwork and polling stations, without what each party then spends). Given that just about everywhere outside London had local elections a month ago, there was a referendum last year and a general election last year we've spent enough to have had a bit less austerity.

She has also wasted time that could have been spent on properly preparing for the Brexit negotiations, which start in 12 days. She could have spent time on national policy and ensuring the country got on with its business, instead of Parliament rising early and not getting through the legislation scheduled to be considered.

Her hubris will cost her.

But still get out and vote. If you want her then do your bit. Don't kvetch if you don't vote and you don't get your flavour of politician.

A politician that can't get elected can't do shit, they have to appeal to the masses regardless of what they (as a Politician) actually THINKS/BELIEVES.

They have to do that. There is no second route, that is the ONLY route.

They say what they think will make you vote for them, even if what they are saying isn't even fucking true.

What they say doesn't reflect so much on what they personally think themselves... but on what they think of us and what we (as a general population) are willing to believe.

It's fucking odd to me that when someone get's in and virtually NOTHING they said ever happens, people turn round and go:

"Well according to all my various social media feeds it appears that literally everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, is voting Labour!

I wonder what will have happened by the time we wake up on Friday!?

Erm ! Not everyone voted labour"

I know we've had some shock results recently, Scottish referendum, Brexit and Trump, but if this happens, I predict a flood of beautiful unicorns will join Fab and insist we all take turns shagging them

"NHS is a concern for me with the tories... as an example, giving birth in a private hospital costs approx £6k...

That's just the birth... Not including scans, consultancy, midwife appointments etc... If you had to pay that could you really afford to have children?

Don't be too concerned ! Luckily you're a bloke so it will never be an issue"

I hope you was just trying to be funny, but if you voted the other lot you probably wasn't

"Will be tough for anyone who gets in I agree, but there really is only one sensisble choice

Yes, to spoil your ballot paper and revolt against the lot of 'em.

Not a bad idea

I think it is technically illegal to deliberately spoil your ballot.

"

I believe it is but they don't press charges

"There should be another box under the others labelled 'None of the above' with a list of words that could be ticked ie..Incompetent, dishonest, hypocrite, expenses fiddler etc. This box could then be counted and the total used as an informative number instead of the 'spoiled ballot' figure which is actually meaningless as it doesn't distinguish any of the different ways the ballot paper has been spoiled. "

I agree. A conscientious objection to the leaders and policies.
