UKIP to continue campaigning

The "main" parties have suspended national campaigns for today. UKIP alone have said they will continue.....(not that I can see them getting much coverage).

Are they being insensitive cnuts.... or should we all carry on and ignore the terrorists, not let them change the way we behave?

wouldnt surprise me to allow the right wing tory machine to carry on ukip and tories are one of the same.

i have aeen reports of people asking for the election to be postponed or sthg.

whats this about how they hate our democracy we keep hearing about?

shocking turn of events.

They absolutely should keep campaigning.

What happens if there's another attack on Monday... or Wednesday... do we just stop campaigning indefinitely? No.

At the moment, the primary reason why we are campaigning is because this very disease needs addressed and quashed. Hats of to UKIP for not pandering to the handringers and remaining visible and present and robust in its manifesto.

I think pausing for a day or at least a few hours is a good thing. People are more concerned with what happened and need some time to focus on that instead of having politicians sniping at each other competing with a tragedy for time on the news.

I think pausing for a day is a good idea. However if one party refuses to stop campaigning, regardless of the their moral stance on it,it throws the entire thing out.

UKIP should be made to stop, or everyone else should continue, one or the other.

Seriously 1 day of respect followed by campaigning is correct and justified. That's my view

The terrorists hate our way of life and they hate our democracy. No doubt one of their aims is to disrupt our election. We shouldn't let them win and should carry on. Respect to ukip for carrying on in defiance of the terrorists.

I think there is no absolutely right or wrong position on this. If UKIP want to campaign, or any other party for that matter, I'm ok with that. If Labour, Conservatives and LibDems don't I'm ok with that to.

Right now I don't want to hear too much argument and think, at times like this we should concentrate on what unites us not on what divides us. However points and arguments do need to be made before Thursday so there comes a point where stopped the discussion of what we don't agree on is actually stopping the democratic process. We can't allow that to happen.
