I was under the impression all politcal parties had suspended campaigning out of respect for the people of Manchester after yesterdays tragedy.

Just got home from the school run to find UKIP out in full force having posted a flyer through my door

Do they really have that little shame and disrespect??

It was agreed that campaigning would be suspended, yes. But I don't think it was only for Tuesday. Talk is that it will be at least Friday before it starts again.

They talk of British vales - my understanding is that it is quite British to give people to mourn and grieve till the dust settles down, then proceed with a stiff upper lip.

It was suspended for Tuesday. It's now Wednesday and we have to carry on otherwise the terrorists win. We can't let the scum terrorists disrupt our way if life or the democratic process or the election in this country, the terrorists would only see that as a victory in their warped twisted minds. I say good on ukip for getting back out there today in defiance of the terrorists.

You shouldn't have been surprised, ukip, Katie Hopkins etc and Isis are flip sides of the same hate preaching coin. They feed off each other and this was seen as an opportunity by them.

I had a lib dem leaflet through my door this morning......so other parties too.

Tories and Labour have agreed to suspend for a few days but it will have to resume soon.

Irrespective of whether or not you feel that is appropriate, and to a certain extent I take your point, if an agreement has been made, it should be respected by ALL parties.

It was reported at the weekend that the ukip manifesto was due to be released on Wednesday (today). It was not released today and was suspended until tomorrow (Thursday).

Has Corbyn condemned ISIS or just the bombing? Only in an interview with Sophie Ridge on sky news at the weekend before the terror attack in Manchester he refused to condemn the IRA and only condemned the bombing. Corbyn should hang his head in shame after that interview.

He didn't refuse to condemn which you know is a lie and different from what he said which was to condemn the bombing by both the unionists and the IRA..

I agree. Dislike UKIP as I do I see nothing wrong with them, or any others, distributing leaflets or engaging in local canvasing. However I may take objection to what UKIP and Nuttall have to say when they release their UKIP manifesto later to day. I have a feeling it won't be very much in line with the "Love for all, hatred for none" message currently coming out from the people of Manchester.
