It's been reported that Lord Sugar would vote for Theresa May.

I've lots of respect for a man who has worked incredibly hard to make a huge company; perhaps he should become Prime Minister and knock some sense into the politicians and show them how to get it done.

He was a supporter of the red tories (new labour), so to switch his vote to the blue tories is no huge leap.

Labour and tories jumped in to bed together to fiercely protect their mutual self-interest against Scottish self-determination - and their councillors in Aberdeen have just performed a similar manoeuvre in order to keep out the majority party, the SNP.

He has previously been a Labour party member and doner, however there are plenty of those who can't stand Corbyn and might not vote Labour this time.

Micheal Foot had thousands of his loyal supporters turning up to his rallies in the 70's/80's and look what happened to him. His manifesto of 1983 is dubbed the longest suicide note in history. It's very easy to preach to the converted like Corbyn does.

Theresa May on the other hand has been visiting Key marginal seats so she can get her message over to the unconverted. That is the difference.

We usually agree on a lot but on this particular subject im afraid not.

I will be voting for labour for the first time ever and its mainly down to corbyn and out of all the manifestos the labour one will benefit me the most along with millions of others i imagine.

And im not alone in this a lot of people i know that don't usually even bother voting are voting labour this time.

But then again im from Liverpool where labour always gets most votes so maybe other city's see things completey different.

All i know is Teresa may had this election in the bag but due to how she's avoiding the public and the conservatives mess of a manifesto and how well Jeremy corbyn is engaging with the public and coming across really well at his rally's and probably one of the better manifestos I've seen in my adult life...this election is going to be a lot closer than everyone thinks.

The one thing that Theresa May has done by forcing an election is forcing exposure for JC - it's inevitable, given that he is the leader of the opposition. He comes over as a really pleasant chap, human, not polished and people seem to really like it.

Theresa May, it seems is more or less hiding..... Odd tactic.

A pleasant chap? Really? He just comes over as an incompetent buffoon. An old Marxist, Trotskyist, Communist, socialist, pacifist hippy who has his head up in the clouds and doesn't live in the real world is how he comes across to me and most of my friends and family who I've talked to about it.

Instead of odd i would say Great tactic. The threat to the conservatives was complacency having such a big lead in the polls and the Tory vote staying at home out of complacency. Now the polls have narrowed a bit the complacency will be gone and the tory vote will definitely come out combined with a good bulk of the old ukip vote.

Or leave the EU without a deal and go onto wto terms with the EU which I'd be more than happy with. No Deal is better than a bad deal remember.

You vote for Corbyn who has opposed the EU his whole career but when it comes down to it he backed Remain. Now he wants a fudged Brexit deal to keep us in the single market and the customs union with all the shitty EU strings that come attached with it. Any deal will be accepted by Corbyn from the EU, even a bad deal, the EU will chew him up and spit him out.

When the policy is spend, spend, spend then yes it will benefit a lot of people and of course it looks attractive. You just have to consider how realistic it is to achieve that. That said, i don't see what any of the major parties are doing to address the north - south divide.

What huge empire? It's relatively small compare to really successful businessmen. The only " business" he has now is owning a factory that makes skyboxes and renting out a few buildings.

This is the genius businessman who turned down a partnership with Bill Gates because " Microsoft doesn't have a future."

He has failed totally as an entrepreneur; and relies solely on a few lucky property investments.

Everyone thinks he is a " good businessman" because he tells them he is.

I am referring to Sugar in my post. Who, to be fair, built his businesses from nothing, being penniless and from the east end. But he is not the business guru he tells everyone he is.

Trump inherited a fortune, and the reality is that he has failed numerous times; but his aides have preserved most of his fortune and enhanced it for him. He has done little , in effect, himself.
