I see a lot of hate caused by the current way of doing things.

We're all split into our separate groups of poor people and misfed information on purpose.. so that we're more focused on attacking each other.. than the real enemy.. Liberal Democracy.. only it's not Liberal or Democratic.. It's been corrupted, if it ever even existed.. It's headed the same route as Socialism. Beautiful, alternative ways of living.. corrupted by capitalism.

Capitalism is the real enemy here folks. Money, the root of all evil. Every decision we make is governed by money.. nearly all information we're given is sponsored by cash flow. It corrupts by it's very nature.

Is it possible to live in a world without money? I think it is. Look how we mobilised for war en masse during the Great Wars of the 20th Century. Can you imagine mobilising for peace?

The sceptics amongst you will immediately revert to the same old insults.. tree hugger, hippy, dreamer.. but I expect that. Being the peaceful fella I am.. I'm not going to respond in kind, because it'll only reinforce your views if I go on the attack.. you'll feel the victim.. and we can't be having that.

What we need is one common thing that every human can relate to.. and that is love. We love our family and friends, we want them to be safe and happy.. and we all want that for ourselves. Black, white, Labour, Conservative, gay, straight, male, female, young, old, African or American, Muslim or Atheist.

Spiritualism has melted away as science, logic and rationalism destroy religion.. the one factor in politics that preaches love for your fellow man.. the hand that stays. Melted away for good reasons.. but we no longer have the voice that reminds us to love and care amongst those in control.

Capitalism creates mass suffering for the worker drones... the 99% of us not in the 2017 Rich lists. The working classes inside and outside the system. We've become slaves.

There are enough resources for all of us on the planet and enough space. In time they will dwindle, but managed effectively.. our planet can sustain a growing population for many years to come.. more than enough time to start colonizing other planets.

Why do we need growth and productivity so badly.. because the system demands it! The system is greedy and corrupt, it's brutal. Who wants to live in a dog eat dog, brutal mad max society really?

I say we figure out what makes us human, what are our base needs and start re-defining our civilization based on those requirements. New human rights that apply the planet. Begin holding our powerbases to account, demanding justice. Taking back what belongs to all of us by means of peaceful protest and loving thy neighbour.

Call it ridiculous bullshit if you like.

I call it "One love".

They wanted it during the colonial slave days too.. but eventually people decided they wouldn't buy sugar and cotton that had blood on it's hands.. thanks to the tempering hand of abolitionists. The love for our fellow man.

Now the blood has seeped back in and it's everything we buy.. phones made from precious metals in Africa that fuel wars over the rights to the metals. Just one example.. that most of us don't know about or choose to ignore.. because we've stopped loving people. So long as we're ok, who cares right? That's a sick way to live.

And no, before anyone asks.. I'm not a monk in a robe.. I'm your average victim of capitalism.. I'm just slowly waking up from the lies I'm told every day. At first I was full of rage and shame.. blaming everyone who hadnt woken up to the reality in previous generations - which made things worse.

Now I see the only way to release that rage is to channel it into compassion and empathy.. to forgive and try to understand. And keep pushing the idea.. that this system is destructive and causes harm to so many of us. To try to raise the possibility that surely there's another way.. and it starts by giving a fuck about other people.. be that love, spiritualism, religion or whatever.

The only way i know of to create a moneyless society is to address the abundance/scarcity issue. Its a technological problem.

In the star trek world replicators make what ever you need and they have no need for money.

We will one day harness fusion making electricity free.Technology like AI and nano tech and 3d printing and bio tech might give us an age of abundance.

What planet do you live on, electricty could never be free, it still would need to be produced in a power station and then it needs infrastructure to get it to your home and that needs to be maintained, even your replicators need making so you need to buy it, what areyou going to live in in this eutopia are houses going to just appear ?

I'm talking very long term at the moment on this particular thread. Not an in the moment discussion.

AI will erode away at our jobs, we'll be forced into ever smaller niches that machines can't do. Till they can do them.

If you lived in a world where you could play most of the time and have enough food to eat, wouldn't you be happy working on infastructufe projects a few months of the year.. in exchange for that lifestyle. All your doing is removing the paper.. giving us what we need and want.. in return for our manpower and skill.. as and when it's required.

I live on Earth. Same as you by the way. I could attack your views very easily, but I'm trying to make you understand. Insulting you back isn't going to help my cause. No matter how upsetting it is to be called stupid and a hippy.. by people who so freely give up their rights and so ready to attack someone because they're different, or see things from another perspective than you do.. but you're just as much a victim of this society as I am.

I'm not a spiritualist, but I think there is something missing from the system right now.. well lots of things really. How thesr decisions are made, no longer seems to take into consideration how others suffer greatly from it.

I feel we're all turning against each other and too wrapped up in our own lives to care how are behaviour effects people we don't know. They're thoughts don't matter. I see it everyday just trying to work to live.. on the road, customers, bosses... people in the street, in forums.

We're so quick to attack one another. Try and talk politics and if people don't like your views.. you're insulted and sometimes even threatened.. people don't seem to want to stop and try to understand one another. I'm right, you're wrong and you're a fucking idiot for thinking that way, but I'm amazeballs.

I try to turn to humour when it happens, usually the other side is so affronted and my audacity that even that doesn't lighten the mood and the conversation comes to an end. Usually with the other party not even trying to understand what it is you want to say. Be it Brexit, Foreign policy, societal ills, religion, culture.. whatever. I'm right, you're wrong.. and you're a fucking prick!

All sides seem to be guilty.. I see the left attack the right and gay attack straight and vice versa . It seems to be because we're ignorant, how do we learn.. If every conversation gets nasty and one side walks away?

Can't we start trying to make ourselves understood by taking the time to listen to each other? Give your opponent the respect they deserve for caring enough to have an opinion at least. It's worth more than apathy. Who knows.. you may come to an accidental compromise over some common ground.
