Does anyone know the difference?

It's about time we all educated ourselves about this and punch corporations on the nose.

I think Yep...

I think do...

Law is the set of legal rules that govern our behaviour.

It has many parts, criminal law has 3 parts, the Common Law, Equity and Statute. Where Common Law and Equity conflict Equity must prevail and Statute is supreme. Statute comes in 2 forms Primary Legislation which is bills passed into law by parliament and Secondary Legislation which is supposed to be minor alterations to Primary Legislation signed into law by Ministers of The Crown.

Does that cover it?

Or would you like me to add the branches of civil law as well?

You missed the part of consent to acts and statutes.

"You missed the part of consent to acts and statutes."

Please elucidate, I thought I had pretty well covered criminal law (although I will admit to not having mentioned devolved powers and bye laws).

Acts and statutes can only be applied to those that consent,If judges and police officials are following their oaths.
