Unfortunately, those wanting to profit from the consensus view are not being offered good odds, 1/20 for conservatives. A remain vote in the referendum was 3/1 on the eve and that was supposed to be a sure thing. The only marginally attractive odds are a hung parliment at 11/2." I had a bet against the odds for Leave to win the EU referendum, always had a feeling Leave would win and picked up a nice paycheck at the bookies from that bet. However I won't be having a punt on Labour to win this general election, even putting a £1 bet on would be a waste of a quid. | |||
