"I know that some people will bleat on about taking the country down, but since the global crisis in 2008, the U.K. had managed to achieve 103rd out of 112 in terms of our real terms wage growth. Out of the OECD countries only Greece has had a worst real world wage growth than us. The surprising thing? Poland has had the higest growth in real terms wages. Maybe we should be staying in the EU so we can all migrate to Poland?

" They would also have had to increase wages to deter workers from travelling to the UK in the first place. The more that happens the more likely wages will rise in the UK. The problen is that the EU is continually looking to expand into poorer countries and insisting on austerity measures for struggling southern eurozone members to maintain a supply of cheap labour | |||

It was a tory government in all but name ..the lib dems sold themselves and their agenda down the river for the chance to sit at the big table "Don't blame them really. Nick Clegg must have doubled his earning for being deputy Prime minister and then there's the parachute payment when you leave office. What the fuck would you do if you were elected to parliament and 5 years on a gravy train beckoned. I think they did a bloody marvellous job. Wish we could have them back. Hey now there's a thought.
