No we are not..

maybe go back to your own country if that is how you feel, else your just talking piss and wind again shag..

despite voting to remain and still think that was the best of the two options just i think that there will be maybe years of upheaval and yes it could go pear shaped but one thing we are good at in this country is knuckling down and getting on with things even in the darkest hours..

so again if you think we are fucked, pack your bags and put your money where your mouth is..

i dunno how many times this bloody square dance in london happens but all i know is it makes squat of difference.

my life has never changed from one government to the next to the next...i still get up, do my own thing, life has been consistently good since i can remember. we're so well off over here, we just don't see it as we've grown accustomed to to the good life.

i've always had money to feed myself, a roof, hot and cold running water, all modern luxuries, never struggled to find work under any government so far...it's always been good, no matter who's in number ten, it'll be the same this time next year too

Totally agree - we all have a political views some may be more left or right wing, but it is a view that can be debated. To tell someone to go back to where they came from is bang out of order

I voted to remain, and normally I am a labour voter however labour with Corbyn won't make a challenge in a school classroom debate, so I am fucked. As I don't like the Brexit vote where should I go as I was born here

An obvious tactic to validate her premiership, as currently she is an unelected pm.Will also give more credence to brexit negotiations. Unfortunately, there is no real opposition. Jeremy Corbyn is good as an opponent, but too isolated within his own party to be a national leader.

Couldn't we all vote for Nicola Sturgeon? She may not be everyone's cup of tea, but she's passionate about standing up for her people

No PM is elected, we aint America.

Thankfully Labour will be obliterated.

Sturgeon may be passionate, but so was Stalin and Hitler, and the were both more personable than Sturgeon.

As a country we need to get together behind Brexit etc. Its gonna be a bumpy road, and we dont want to look fractured going in to the negotiations with Europe

Detest Brexit with a passion, but if we are going lets just get on with it. Corbyn is at best a well meaning but ultimately a pathetic, ineffectual joke, so Labour are well and truly stuffed. Tea will be voting Plaid Cymrai. But I think its time to turn Wales blue.

One difference between you and whom I responded to is you have not constantly been slagging the country off since last jun..

Bit like those who moan about how bad the site is then stay and ignore any suggestions to improve how it may work for them then whine again how shit it is..

Don't like it then do something positive or shut up..

Or go ..

Bit like those who moan about how bad the site is then stay and ignore any suggestions to improve how it may work for them then whine again how shit it is..

Don't like it then do something positive or shut up..

Or go ..

If this country is this fucked or this bad then why stay and keep moaning?

If that was said to a person of a different colour you would be one of the first to object to it."

if it was said to someone of the same colour who was an asylum seeker or refugee then i would agree with you and yes i would but therein lies the difference..

and now it looks like the person we are both referring to is leaving in any case..

yet still continues to talk down the country..?

"An obvious tactic to validate her premiership, as currently she is an unelected pm.Will also give more credence to brexit negotiations. Unfortunately, there is no real opposition. Jeremy Corbyn is good as an opponent, but too isolated within his own party to be a national leader.

Couldn't we all vote for Nicola Sturgeon? She may not be everyone's cup of tea, but she's passionate about standing up for her people"

If only.

Telling someone to do one back to their own country is no different and it isn't fair that it is OK to say to one person but not the next.

He can say what he wants to be fair....just like we could all add to the discussion without telling people to do one.

I personally don't know why anyone would stay here if they think so little of it either

By saying someone should go home to their own country like they did in that tone is xenophobia.

"I'm all for opinions.

I'm all for opinions that differ from mine and I don't agree with 95% of Shag's publically stated views.

That said 'fuck off back to where you came from' (or variations of) is a disgusting comment to throw at someone during a discussion

One difference between you and whom I responded to is you have not constantly been slagging the country off since last jun..

Oh if only you'd stopped here. The next point is where you start playing the man and not the ball. If he was British you wouldn't presume he should leave his homeland over the trivial matter of it being 'fucked'. British people would stay and moan; it's what we do best.

It's a fair point and accepted, my words could have been chosen differently. What I should have done is ignored my opinion of the posters often stated far right views on other people and solely addressed his ongoing negativity on this country he calls home ..
