"no one should be in politics until they have done a job outside that arena, " I understand where you are coming from, but I do think that the UK Constitutional Monarchy model is the best I have seen so far and that does require the head of state to spend their life either preparing to inherit the roll or preforming the roll. Therefore I would have to disagree with you unless you consider rolls in the Armed Forces as being outside politics, and there I would need a lot of convincing as I see the Armed Forces and Civil Service as being purely political in nature. | |||
