So the people who use the term populism usually use it in a disparaging way because they don't want to give the ordinary people/majority what they want, they want to give them what they think is good for them because they 'know best'. So basically they are against democracy" Did you read post or the analysis? I haven't been disparaging about anything. The term is Authoritarian Populism which is a compound term. What is your opinion on what this represents as opposed to populism? Is there a cross-over? Can what the population wants be influenced by what they are told the problems are and how easy solutions may be? | |||
