How will our lives improve after Brexit happens?

Not just statements please. Please provide a logical path to each benefit as I've only heard asertions up to now

Also, any benefits that you can demonstrate that the UK had prior to joining the EU too would be interesting. Please don't waste space with "pint glasses with handles" etc...

It's impossible to say as no one has a clue what Brexit will look like and how it will effect our economy and lives.

Brexit could give us hardly anyone to trade with for years, country goes bankrupt, millions more unemployed & homeless, people starving to death.

Or

Brexit could give us unrivalled trading, a booming economy, full employment, hit a massive GDP surplus, everyone might own their own home with a holiday pad in Miami.

Or anywhere in between

Miami has gone down hill in recent years, or at least Ocean Drive has. Now full of plastic, party places for plastic party people.

I can't speak for other people but I see great benefit for me as the £GBP will take another hit or two and hopefully will hit parity with the $USD which means that my $USD earnings will be worth much more on a monthly basis.

Very selfish of me of course to gloat over the fact that those people who earn in £GBP will be significantly worse off with a weakened currency - less holidays for you, less shopping for your money and generally a sustained period of discontent until something on the other side starts to take shape. I would rather it had not have happened, but it has and as the Brexiters keep saying - we have to look at the positives, so I am.

My main contract is with a US company, but when it started 2 years ago I got them to switch my contract to be in GBP. So alas I won't benefit from them drop in £. Although I am now several grand a month cheaper to them than I was a year ago. So I guess I'm now better value for money and likely to be retained on contract longer perhaps than my European counterparts.

That is the only slight benefit I've seen. Oh, and my FTSE 100 linked pension is back to where it was valued a couple of years ago. But seeing as I won't be seeing that for another 25 years, I guess that is a moot point. We'll probably all be wandering around the desert shooting each other for diesel supplies by then
