Yet another Brexit benefit

I am thrilled that in a couple of years time we'll have stopped singing carols in praise of unelected European bureaucrats such as the so called 'good' king Wenceslas!

About time!

And I expect that hymnals throughout the country will be vetted to remove such hymns and those, for instance, that have

'Ode to Joy' as their tune.

We have to take this to its logical conclusion for a Red, White and Blue Brexit!

We won't have to worry about those Germans forcing their Christmas tree traditions on us, or those Austrians with their 'Silent Night' carols.

And Santa Claus, will he need a visa or have free movement? After all, he's working so maybe a work permit too? Naturally the presents will be subject to tariffs.

Considering he's a Turk, probably a visa to enter the EU

They all go home at Christmas anyway, so no planned invasion of the UK until the new year!

Used to be like that in the Cold War, everything would have been fine if the USSR didn't invade on a Friday evening on a bank holiday weekend, the whole BAOR having gone home!
