"I think that we are lucky in the UK that religion doesn't play a huge roll in our politics, especially when compared to the US. I have never really got my head around why in the US Christianity seems to equal the right (Republican party), I have always though that Jesus would have been more left wing rather than right. So would Jesus have voted for Trump or Clinton? Remain or Leave? May or Corbyn? " Probbaly Corbyn . I was taught at school that Jesus was the first communist ! That was from our R E Teacher !

Err no there's quite a bit of evidenced to conclude a chap called Jesus of Nazareth existed.... Just not much evidence that he performed any miracles or anything else

There are no eyewitenss accounts he lived !!!

The letters link to Jesus via a couple of direct steps which might suggest a short enough link in the oral tradition that they are based in fact - then again 50 years is quite a long time.

The evidence suggests a chap called Jesus of Nazareth existed around 30ad. Even Richard Dawkins admits that!. . . However that's all the evidence suggests, no walking on water, no feeding masses. However I like what Plato is reported to have said and wrote and I find nothing bad in what this chap Jesus offered either!.
