Yet more good news for the UK economy

So, its reported today that German Industry and Commerce now suggest that Angala Merkel should attempt to tempt the UK back into the European Union by offering better incentives than she offered Cameron, including some form of deal on human migration/immigration.

Every week, sometimes every day, more good news comes from both Europe, and the rest of the world, about wanting to do deals, so much for the UK economy suffering post-Brexit.

Cameron's 'deal' was worthless, interesting that if such as the OP has said has legs then how if that is debated in Parliament it plays out with some of the leavers who have concerns over the uncertainty around the process to leave..

If there is genuinely an offer regarding controls on the movement of people in exchange for us staying in the EU, then I can tell you now we will not leave the EU.

There is a reasonable chance we will stay as it is, but you offer control over immigration, even if it is limited, and you will get about a 70/30 Remain vote in the second referendum.

I didn't vote to leave because of immigration and there is nothing that the EU can offer that would change my mind.

.

I think your being generous with 70/30 I think it would be more like 80/20... But that's just a guess off the top of my head!

.

You wouldn't need to do that, you could do it on gdp relation 5% either way gets unlimited access! 5-20% is visa, above that by invite only, it allows you free movement, limited movement and lower skills when needed while stopping the driving down of wages as gdp relation will equate to a more even wage disparity.

It's not an offer, its German business making noises to Merkel to try to get us back on board, but it demonstrates that no matter how bullish the rhetoric is from Merkel et al, the truth is they need us more than we need them.
