The next debate between the two candidates vying to become the president of the US is scheduled for Sunday night (early hours Monday BST)

I know that this is a massive US soap opera with little to do with policy and government but watching this clip I doubt if Mr Trump is ready to lead the free world. Seems like a lot of Male presidential candidates are from a similar strain!

"Is Donald Trump the president America deserves?" There were a large number of sniffy Republicans at the kick-off, none of whom endeared themselves to Republican voters!

The large former Sanders voting block has had to be dragged kicking and screaming into the Clinton camp.

Clinton herself still has questions to answer on the murder of Ambassador Stevens, the deletion of a staggering 33,000 emails and the content of her three speeches to Goldman Sachs.

So you could well argue that Trump is the man!

For all that Clinton is unpopular..Misogyny anyone ?... If Trump was to be elected it would be a freak show with all us in the UK part of the clown troupe.....Be honest the man is a buffoon

I think most right minded people agree with you Milli the scary thing is how did he get that far........

I believe the reason he has got this far is that the general public are searching for someone who is a renegade a man or woman who is not a polished know all politician. But unfortunately as we see in Scotland know spouting of anti establishment rhetoric does not good government make.

Knowing as we do now his inability to accept criticism, he will do what most foolish people do - he will try to attack Clinton on claims about her husband's past in an effort to make himself look "less bad."

I enjoyed the first debate and will look forward to this one as well albeit being back over means a bit more of a late night this time around.
