Found out today that uber champagne socialist Peter Mandelson (refuse to give him his peer title) is visiting not only my company but my department. How does this mortgage fraudster still have political sway?

Let's see, part of new labour who won 3 general elections. Unlike current labour who will never win any and are stacked full of champagne socialists.

Maybe you should ask him to help Corbyn.. i refuse to give him any title...well if you want to play at 8yr olds so can i.

After all he is a proven winner of elections......but of course Corbyn supporters do not care for such grubby considerations

I feel your pain.

But let's give the Oxford PPE snake-oil salesman his full title i.e. Baron Mandelson, of Foy in the County of Herefordshire and of Hartlepool in the County of Durham.

And while Wikipedia lists a number of the creep's dodgy deals here's one of my favourites:

"In May 2012 Lord Mandelson confirmed that he was advising Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) in selling timber products to Europe. In 2012 APP was accused of illegal logging in Indonesia and damaging the habitats of rare animals such as the Sumatran tiger. "

He was given a peerage by Gordon Brown as a sop to his Blairite opponents when he finally ousted Blair and he didn't want David Milliband as an obstacle to his coronation as New Labour leader and thus becoming unelected PM. So, deserve it he did not in my humble opinion but to be fair how many have?
