Did anyone think it was going to be any other result?

I have no love for the man but have even less for the dirty tricks that the other labour MP's have tried to use to stop him getting democratically elected.

The party was quite happy to take everyones money for membership but tried to stop them voting.

Basically Militant Tendency are back. I noted that once it was clear who had won our old mate Derek "Degsy" Hatton was back on our screens with his support for Corbyn.

So the parliamentary Labour Party [MPs] seem to have have 3 choices!

1. Lick Corbyn's arse and hope they can stay in [ see Andy Burnham who stood against him last time calling him inept]

2. Wait for Corbyn and militant/momentum to deselect them and replace them with socialist worker candidates.

3. Form a break away party similar to SNP which could end up much bigger than Corbyn's loony left rump.

There are often those commenting in the forums about "grabbing the popcorn and sitting back". This really could be the time to do that!

I'm not so sure. There is saying that Oppositions don't win elections, The government in power lose them. There are plenty of banana skins on the way for this lot to trip up over. Eventually all governments slip over too many times and lose power.

"It is all he is going to win, set labour back about 30 years."

If Gisela Stuart was leader, I would consider voting Labour again

A breakaway Party that could end up bigger than the biggest in Europe?

Some are saying the loony left are back, well at the moment the loony right are running the country and have been for the last 20 years.

By the will of the people

and there lies the difference. The loony left will never have it

Corbyn makes Kinnock look like Thatcher, his chance of becoming prime minister is less than zero.

"Corbyn makes Kinnock look like Thatcher, his chance of becoming prime minister is less than zero."

Not being Thatcher appeals to 60% of the country who fucking hated her.

"How?"

through the stupidity of the left and the unions. Want another Thatcher? Put Corbyn in power for 5 years and one will have to come along to clean up the mess again
