Labour leadership: Corbyn and Smith

Today is the day that the decision will be made

Will all Labour MP's unite and back the winner, some how I suspect not

and if they do not, then today could be the final nail in the coffin

Could be a Corbyn win but he stands down before the election. To be fair I lost hope.

Wednesday and the end of the Conference will see the end of the Labour party.

Attendees are already being advised on how to avoid violence. The tolerant Left eh?

I find it quite amusing that the Party has done a deal with Virgin trains for people who are attending the conference. Wonder where they'll sit

The party is being dragged out of the mainstream by the zealots...Corbyn i would bet has voted AGAINST the Labour party more than the rest of the parliamentry party put together....Then he calls for unity......he is a Tory stooge it is the only logical explanation...Oh but there will be some young buck ready to take the mantle and Labour will recover...It may take time though lol

Labour needs a total revamp if it is to recover its quite sad to see a once strong party who stood up for the ppl sink so low in the polls esp in scotland

Corbyn won 313,209 votes, compared with Mr Smith's 193,229

I can't say I'm a big labour fan in general, but politics imo needs two parties to debate and fight for the best for the people.

With this result I see the end of the Labour Party, then what just a single rule without contest, that can't be right

its fairly simple, MP's must listen to the public that vote them in, when they stop listening they start to loose the public vote

This is happening right now within Labour and will continue until Labour realise the work for & represent the UK public

Great result! 61% of the Labour party want JC, 140 MPs and the NEC who owe their jobs to the work and money of the Labour party want anyone but JC as leader and absolute power to dictate leadership and policy to the party.

I cant see Labour winning an election unless the SNP do something silly and lose a lot of seats to Labour.

Please explain...

And while at it remember that 12 months ago the Labour party (with a 1 member 1 vote system) elected JC as their leader and that 3 months ago 140 members of the party used their position as MPs to attempt to overturn the parties will and replace the leader with one they wanted and forced another election which has confirmed the choice made 12 months ago.

im afraid that will never happen as long as Kezia Dugdale is leader in Scotland, She cant even be trusted to press a button to vote, they lost a big Scottish vote because she couldn't even understand how to vote in Scottish parliment
