Emily Thornbury [for those unsure who she is...shadow foreign secretary].

Interviewed on Murnaghan show today....unable to name the French foreign secretary.

Tried to switch the debate on tensions between N and S Korea... Couldn't even say what sex the S Korean president is...... Really?

I know Corbyn had little choice over his shadow cabinet after all the resignations etc.....but barrel and scraping springs to mind. Has the Labour Party sunk so low that people in senior positions in the party are really so inept?

We really need a serious opposition. But where is it going to come from? Maybe the sooner labour splits...and a new "opposition" emerges the better?

I'm dismayed by labour atm.

Corbyn is in my opinion is a nice bloke, don't know if he would be an effective PM though. I don't know where the PLP gets the whole 'ineffective opposition leader' thing from? Don't get me wrong, he is far from perfect, but labour cannot complain considering Milliband's leadership decimated labour even in it's core areas.

For some reason I cannot trust Owen Smith as much.

But yes, labour is scraping the barrel I think, so many people are reluctant to work under corbyn that they are shooting themselves in the food with people who are not suited for certain positions being pushed to the front, whilst those more suitable refuse.

A shame really, cause all UKIP has to do is effectively become labour with a strict immigration policy and they will mostly displace it. Whether they manage to become that given their internal conflict is another story.

What's sexist about expecting the shadow foreign secretary to know the French foreign secretary at a time that we are leaving the EU!!! If there are 2 names you should know it's the French and German Foreign Secretaries!!

Thornbury is a two faced lying hypocrite multi millionaire typical of the North London Champagne Socialists that run Labour who lecture others on the evils of wealth from positions of huge wealth. This is the bitch that fucked up by letting her arrogance get blown open when she published photos ofthe White Van and English Flag in Rochester.

She now has a very important brief and does not have a clue and when she was found out she used the sexism card. Just like she used the racism card in interviews during the EU Referendum when she was made to look foolish.

And the guy she is shadowing? Well he has met his opposite number twice and held every meeting in French. He could have done it in 6 other languages as well. She struggles with the simple language called truth.

The sad thing is I am a huge advocate of equal rights, whether it's gender, race or religion. But a claim of sexism on this is bullshit and she knows it, and the sad thing is that there are bigots in this country who don't think women should be equal and this just gives them more fuel to stoke their fire with.
