Perhaps they're taking a train and wanted to get tips from Jez Corbyn on the most comfortable seating position.

Nothing to blame on Brexit, but it will be a pain in the future when we will need a visa to visit.

Oh, I don't know. If it weren't for brexit then we wouldn't have to have a separate politics forum. If we didn't have a separate forum, this non-political nonesense wouldn't be invading the politics forum, and then everything could have been avoided.

Fucking brexit, right?!

Have you never thought that older people that were around before we joined the EU and remember what it was like are better qualified than you to say if we are better off in or out.

Do you remember the three day working week? Was that better?

My parents were around before the UK joined the EU and its predecessors and they voted to remain as well.

And not being pedantic but it was an energy crises first and foremost! It really had little to do with being in or out of the EU

The majority of over 50s voted to leave the 3 day week had nothing to do with the EU it was the Government against the Unions.

No it really wasn't.

Crude oil went up four fold and the entire world went into an energy deficiency the electricity was withheld to commercial uses to only 3 days a week.... Hence the 3 day working week

The UK wasn’t perfect before we join the EU (and predecessors), the UK isn’t perfect now, and the UK won’t be perfect in the future if we leave the EU or not. But I think on balance, that the UK is better off in the EU than out of it.

For the first half of the 20th century the USA was in effect Saudi Arabia in terms of oil production, unfortunately it peaked in 1970/71 and coincided with the Arab states withholding oil because of the Israel/Palestine conflict.

The world went into an energy deficiency for the first time since it gushed fourth in Pennsylvania.

Heavy unionisation of industry may not have helped the UKs situation but it didn't cause the three day working week

That may well be correct the point is it had nothing to do with being part of the EU or not.

Well I'm sure you still think that I and the others who voted Remain are wrong, and I still think that those who voted to remain are wrong.

I said that further up!.

.

.

The fact remains if I remove 35% of your daily energy intake you ain't going to get as much done as you did yesterday.. of course you could look to your inefficancys of where you wasted some energy yesterday so you could do the same today as you did yesterday but with 35% less energy?.

Of course the countries best placed to do this would be maybe ones that had been flattened and rebuilt through war, running with no excess costs?.

Germany and Japan just happened to have stumbled into the perfect scenario for world domination that they couldn't achieve with bullets... Now that's irony

I have a high energy intake

high carbs & protein as well as a number of amino acids & creatine

I can cut down by 35% and still be a power house of energy
