Seeing how he is so in favour of the Islamic State should he be deported to Syria?

Or should he be held in solitary confinement for the term of his imprisonment?

I think solitary confinement sounds the right idea, if he's allowed with other prisoners he will do on the inside what he's been doing on the outside.

But as he is British born I don't see him being kicked out unfortunately.

No sentence passed as yet, but let's hope its substantial.

That's the problem with all of these British born is suporters, they all spout about how good thier way of life is supposed to be but they want to live here.

If their califate is such a good idea why don't they all go to thier own corner of Syria and all live together part from everyone else.

just like all of the fuckwits who want to travel to Syria just let them go, cancel thier passports and citizenship and then they are no longer anything to do with the U.K.

I agree with you about solitary confinement and for the exact same reason but with the added worry that being locked up those he will now come into contact with have shown criminal behaviour and will be easier to manipulate due to feeling aggrieved because they have been imprisoned. However I cant see that happening as it would be classed as a human rights violation.

I can however see him receiving what I would consider a lenient sentence maybe even litter-picking and a ban on internet access.

He's the worst type of idiot, he's not actually willing to do any of the bollocks he tells others to do, he's the champagne socialist only with a different ideology!.

I'd like to see him jailed although a spell in public stocks would also be good

You are so wrong!

He is not an idiot, he is a very clever man who has spent the last 20 years openly radicalising young Muslims and inciting them to kill in the name of their religion while staying just the right side of the law. You do not do that so successfully without being very good at what you do.

There is nothing of the champagne socialist in him at all. He (and his kind) are extremely dangerous and need to be treated with respect not ridiculed and dismissed because they use our conceit as a weapon against us.

Strangely enough while this Nazi was encouraging everyone else to do murder in Syria he preferred his cosy Ilford lifestyle. And as for solitary confinement expect him to continue with his luxury lifestyle when he has the relevant grovelling PC prison governor under his thumb. And expect his other PC arse-licking fans from C4 to continue with their 'cause celebre' interviews!

A champagne socialist is a "a person who espouses socialist ideals while enjoying a wealthy and luxurious lifestyle". Ergo, a hypocrite.

He calls for people to commit terrorism but isn't willing to do the acts himself. Ergo, a hypocrite.

Conclusion: he's the champagne socialist only with a different ideology!

Bang on the money with that comment.

I think he should be given a fair trial and if found guilty given the sentence befitting of his crime.

Should that happen he should be placed in solitary confinement for his own safety. Then made to disappear

The head and founder of the quilliam foundation maajid nawaz found a different truth in prison than the radical path he was on!.

Choudry exemplifies the hypocrites identified earlier. He seeks to destroy the British Way of Life, and those that serve to protect it, while happily taking the Benefits that the same British Way of Life provides. The man has not worked for 10 years or more so why was he still being paid benefits at all? And we are talking in excess of £25K a year here. 5 kids all funded by the British Taxpayer thank you very much. Plus he manages to get British Taxpayers to pay his legal bills every time the Plod take him on costing £ millions. As someone else has said he is a very clever manipulative man who uses his taxpayer provided legal qualifications to stay the right side of the law. Until now. He is just the latest in a list of scrounging, lying two faced toerags who live one lifestyle while professing another. At University he was a d*unken, womanising, drug taking moron..... Not too many Islamic values there then.

And if you think he is evil take a look at his wife who runs a women's support group for IS fighters and has personally persuaded young teenage girls to go out to Syria to keep the Brothers happy! You couldn't make it up (to quote Littlejohn).

I honestly don't think he's intelligent at all. I've said it before and I'll say it again: "stupid is as stupid does".

Brainwashing vulnerable people and treading a thin line with the law don't require much intelligence. They just require you to be completely shameless and power hungry.

He isn't a hypocrite.

He has been chosen by a higher power to recruit supporters for the cause.

It just happens the recruits have been chosen to go off and die and not him...

I am sure if he was chosen to die he would happily go to his death..

I have been hearing in the last couple of days that the government are actually talking of keeping people like Choudary in solitary confinement to stop them radicalising other inmates.

They need to make sure it's watertight or they will be getting claims for violation of human rights.

If we were officially at War. The War act could be applied? Enemy of the state, commiting treason comes to mind. As well as supporting the enemy, sponsoring sabotage in killing our troops or damaging infrastructure whilst out of uniform(Spy). Punishable by death. Its an insult to Lee Rigby's family. Fucking Judges are a bunch of Leftie do gooder twats who live in a parallel universe of privilege and money and look down on people like Rigby and his family. This bastard should have been put away for at least 20 years with no chance of parole.
