"I saw Ken Loach on a panel last night. He was frothing at how Corbyn has been treated by his party. It does amuse me that we have the potential to have Corbyn and Gove opposite each other at PMQs both in the same position that those behind them want to stab them and their grass roots members want them to stay in post. I can't remember politics ever being like this. ![]() That wasn't the same at all. That was an agreed handover, Cameron was opposite and supported by his party.

"hmm, may have to stand soon! ![]() I think if there is a challenge then the vote might not be as conclusive as he hopes. The point is that he needs MPs to back him to even challenge and if he doesn't get that then the party will completely fracture. It's not yet a year since the membership elected him.

"hmm, may have to stand soon! ![]() That is up for debate. The Labour Party's rule on challenging the leader is drafted very badly. It is ambiguous with the first part of the clause referring to challengers and the second referring to nominations.

"hmm, may have to stand soon! ![]() It's one of the reasons that Corbyn and Momentum have been desperately trying to wrestle control of the NEC, and why others are acting prior to forthcoming NEC elections when they almost certainly will gain it. The NEC interpret the rules, and my guess is that Eagle and others have been reassured that Corbyn won't be able to stand.

"They fear him as he is the only alternative" The only people that fear Corbyn are the Labour party supporters and members who would like to see the Labour party in power again. All the other parties love him! #anyonebutcorbyn!
