Watching him on Andrew Marr and to me he comes across as such a slime ball. Always claims everything he does is for us and nothing is for his own gain. Whatever you think of Boris he definitely stabbed him in the back politically. I do hope he isn't voted leader.

Yes a typical slime ball.It is surely not beyond the wit and wisdom of the Tory party members to see through his holier than thou act. Although he did save us from the disaster than BoJo would have been. xx

Since people like Theresa May for simply being a woman you could argue it would be good to have an LGBT prime minister in Gove... if one was that shallow

Didn't Boris bail out because he realised few of his brexit pledges could be realised ..therefore his term in office would have been a short one .and gove for pm really!!!!!!

Watching him this morning. He is just so untrustworthy, how can he ever be trusted. He has nothing in common with the majority of the people.

At least he did ensure that Boris was sunk.

Which was a vital task .

.

Well he has the fact that he wants out of Europe in common with them?.

What he fell out with Boris about was that Boris didn't want to leave the EU when alls said and done and gove thought that was going against what people voted for

if the odds of return were decent at the bookies, I would put a large sum on that he wont get in, but the bookies are also aware he doesn't have a hope in hell.

Boris didn't want the article 50 once Cameron announced his departure, but to have just walked away is the end of his career..

Gove is no the record several times saying he didn't want to be PM, a change of heart a 'Judas' type move and hey ho Boris has an out and can come back in the future as the nice guy who was stabbed in the back by gove..

Gove won't be elected PM so they both may not have to implement article 50..

Leadsom, she who it seems was pro EU and went with brexit was not prepared to support Boris unless she had a guarantee of a top job..

Nest of snakes seem to be more trustworthy..

Now that Fox and Crabb have dropped out the rumour is May is positioning some of her supporters to back Gove into a final two at Leadsom's expense.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

"Now that Fox and Crabb have dropped out the rumour is May is positioning some of her supporters to back Gove into a final two at Leadsom's expense."

I don't think she'd do that. She's been pretty clear she wants it to be a straight fight.

Gove believes he can win it with the membership if not the MPs. If he does make it second choice and the 'people' choose him he will be in the same position as Corbyn.

So its Thursday and the Tories vote again

.

Does Michael Gove have no morals at all

.

He has messaged all Theresa May's supporters and asked them to "tactical vote" for him, to ensure Andrea Leadsom is kicked out.

.

Michael Gove should be removed from his MP duties, he is a person you would happily love to meet in a dark alley

.

now where is my baseball bat?

A slimy horrible man. Who wants a former Education Secretary who says don't listen to experts?
