"He may be a lovely guy but he has been a protest MP his whole life, opposing his own party as much as the opposition. Not a good track record for a party leader. The parliamentary Labour party, who know him better than anyone, say he is no manager or leader and cannot take his MPs with him. You cannot win elections on a protest vote or run a government when 70% of your MPs will not do what you tell them. The MPs calling for him to go do so only because they want to be a credible opposition. The thousands that have joined the the labour party over the last few days, presumably to keep him in, are likely to be either secret conservatives or sadly unrealistic left wing socialists. The latter like the ideas Corbyn spouts whilst not apparently caring they cannot work in the real world. Build nuclear submarines but not arm them ffs!! " When Labour stop listening to the public who vote for them, they lose their place in politics they have lost Scotland and looks like they are losing England too they need to take a good look at themselves or the Labour party will die.

"Proof that democracy is dead? Probably the most popular leader Labour has had in a generation, but the establishment want him out. "Unfortunately it is the Members of the party who are in control...some are trotskyists who will topple Labour.. in there need for political purity... They use Labour to get influence then destroy from within " seems to be the nature of the left that it either hasn't adapted to the changes in society with the reduction in heavy industries and its core vote.. it has a habit of tearing itself apart or trying to be something it is not to get in power.. the schism in the Tory party over the EU and for some plain old Europe may be whilst not sorted with the as yet not known outcome of Brexit, perhaps shushed a little.. on another point, great avatar picture..

"Unfortunately it is the Members of the party who are in control...some are trotskyists who will topple Labour.. in there need for political purity... They use Labour to get influence then destroy from within " How do you square that view with Jeremy Corbyn having held the most ideologically mixed shadow cabinet of any Labour leader in history? The only reason there is any 'ideological purity' in the SC at the moment is because people with different views to Jeremy keep resigning!

"It will be the members at grass root levels that decide his fate. Looks to me like the party will split, as the blairite red tory faction seem to be a tad disconnected from their membership and constituents. " Just as the membership (militant /momentum) are totally disconnected from economic reality and the majority of ordinary people?

"Clueless Corbyn's latest gaffe, while attempting to make himself look good in the public eye by publishing his tax return has made a huge error (no surprise, lol). He published his latest tax return in a bid to heap pressure on Teresa May to do the same but it has backfired on him in spectacular fashion after it looked like he had failed to declare £40,000 of income to the taxman. There was similar controversy last year when he published his tax return and managed to balls it up then aswel. There really is no hope for this clueless fuckwit of a man, let's see if he can make it 3 years on the trott with next year's tax return. " Theres a slight irony in this information, you don't have to look particulalrly hard....

"Nobody's seen the irony of centaur's post yet then? But the way, if I Google that post will it be another cut n' paste from the Express or will it be something you actually wrote yourself, Centaur?" Don't have to cut n paste anything for people to see what a complete numpty Corbyn is. His weekly gaffes are broadcast over all news media outlets. Even my 9 year old niece thinks he's an idiot.

A joke is funny. Comedians do that. Papers are meant to report life events and keep people informed.
