How long are we going to suffer this crazy bastard Putin probing NATO defences?

Isn't it time to play him at his own game?

He must be just holding his own thanks to Ukraine fighting back so isn't now the time to pummel the bastards??

Or should I change my Cider ???

For a lot longer

Europe filled their pants on the prospect of putins nuclear threat. Hence it took a year to send Ukraine a tank and almost two years to send an aircraft. Dilly dallying by so called allies has cost a lot of Ukrainians their lives.

Mutually assured destruction would obliterate Russia.

Putin wants to rule.

He can't rule over a nuked Russia.

He won't push the button.

World War 3 wouldn't be very well received anywhere. We can proactively defend but to go on the attack, is to behave in the way that we criticise him for.

We certainly need to improve our European defences, as he obviously has no limits to where he is willing to attack.

Perhaps our biggest obstacle is Trump just now, as he's been too supportive of Putin

Trump recons Putin is looking for a stop to the war with Ukraine and wants to play mediator.

There's been quite a few meetings happening at the UN General Assembly these last couple of days, so watch this space.

Another war that Trump will claim to have ended.

The four horsemen of the apocalypse are coming for the global economy..a perfect storm of wars in Iran and Ukraine, extreme weather and the AI bubble threatens disaster. These four powerful shocks are hitting the world economy at the same time. They are escalating and feeding on each other, driving a commodity spiral that can only end in an inflationary blow-off. The effects are ripping through global bond markets and confronting central banks with an impossible dilemma. The twin wars in Ukraine and Iran, are both acts of aggression by atavistic old men who fatally misread their own strength. These two conflicts are convulsing the world’s interlinked petroleum, gas and grain markets in complex ways. Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, The Telegraph 15th September.

Since when did war solve anything? Can you think of any time the world has been at peace in over a 100 years? The only quiet time was the great depression mixed with flu epidemic.

I fear the level of plutocracy we have reached. Every country now ruled by the extreme rich. Economy plummeting and when people lose hope, they support the extremists. War starts and the people suffer.

And believe humans are the most intelligent creature!

Remember how manipulative the very people that tell us 'news' are. Russia is not a threat to us, for all their bluster (which is aimed at their own populace).

are you volunteering to sign up and fight? Ukraine is a meat grinder. Have a look at the footage. Have a look ant the numbers of dead and injured on both sides. Anyone wanting this to escalate should be prepared to be the first to the frontline. Personally, I don’t want any young Brits (and some slightly older) being butchered by drones/artillery/whatever.

Sick of all this warmongering by people who won’t end up doing the fighting and dying.

I'm not too fussy. Though the best c*nt I've experienced belonged to an Australian lady when on my travels.

Good times.
