add the Ukraine and Israel flag to that list aswell.this country fly this countrys flags want to fly any other countrys flag go fly it in the country it belongs in.i wouldn't expect to see George crosses flying from lamp posts in gaza so I don't wana see others flags flying in this country

It doesn’t matter if it is for a political cause, advertising for a concert or looking for a lost cat. The basic rule of law applies to everyone

not quite sure about the law but next council to where I am have put there own union jacks on lamp posts albeit hard flags but still flags.

I went to Gibraltar last year. Their Main Street is full of Union flags and statues of British people. They seem incredibly proud to be part of this country. What is the problem with flying your flag. It belongs to us. Not some stupid council who cite health and safety and saying it causes a distraction. Strangely enough my council have now put advertising boards all over roundabouts in my city. Is that not a worse distraction?
