Taxpayers funding longterm housing that can be passed from one relative to another through lifetime tenancies, and people wonder why there isn’t enough social and council housing when those who have it don't need to let go of it. Where is the incentive to move out and let someone else who is less fortunate have their chance? We can't keep building houses and allowing the stock to be manipulated. | |||

That is not an end which I wish to see strengthen or widen (USA, I am looking at you in particular). Disciplined also implies inability to change direction when circumstances change. It's a rigidity of thinking, and I believe leaders need to be able to adapt and pivot to meet the changing needs of a society. Societies are not fixed social constructs. . I've shown you mine "In my opinion, firm and disciplined in a political context means sticking to the promises made to the electorate without getting distracted by other noises. Considering that Labour's manifesto pledge is to control immigration, I think she is doing the right thing. Unless you believe that sticking to election promises is wrong, I don't see why you find it concerning. The word "firm" could possibly be twisted and linked to authoritarianism. But there is no way being "disciplined" can be linked to authoritarianism. | |||
