Nicola Sturgeon faces new sets of questions after Peter Murrell admitted guilty of embezzling over £400,000.

"I'm the man with the money" Murrell told Shetland jeweller When Nicola Sturgeon visited a jeweller's shop in Shetland in 2019 and chose a necklace which was paid for with embezzled money.

.

Murrell admitted embezzling a total of £400,310.65 between 12 August 2010 and 19 October 2022

.

The largest single transaction, in 2020, was the purchase of a luxury motorhome for £124,550, paid for entirely with party funds.

Murrell's first major purchase, a £33,000 Volkswagen Golf, was made in early 2016 using £16,489 of SNP money.

He used £57,500 of party cash to buy a Jaguar I-PACE car in 2019, and sold it for £47,378.76 two years later.

Other large purchases included £9,350 on two Bremont watches and £3,192 on a Smythson dressing table and tea set (with a discount applied on the latter).

Purchases of dining table salt & pepper pots (£2,500), perfumes, household goods, jewellery etc were purchased during this time.

Ofcourse Nicola Sturgeon cannot recall how these items were paid for.

They are all at it and have been for years.

392 British Parliament politicians (60% of House of Commons) were ordered to repay £1.3million of misclaimed expenses.

More Labour MPs imprisoned for that any other party.

Tory Covid PPE contracts of £2bn odd including Baroness Mones £200M.

Jenricks signing off party donors planning application to avoid £40M infastructure levy.

Mrs Sunak’s non dom status, insolvent company furlough claims and unpaid HMRC tax.

The cancellation of HS2 northern phases has resulted in billions squandered on unused land and remediation.

All dwarfed by the Brexit con which has likely

cost the uk economy half a trillion.

Why did Peter Murrell argue that he was innocent up until after the 7th May Election and then admits his crimes after votes are cast!

He must take SNP voters as Mugs...

Ohhh wait... they are

She and Swinney both have credibility problems going forward. Denying a parliamentary inquiry is a strange decision by Swinney,it is his chance to clear the decks and start a new era for the party unless he personally knows of something that will lead to his own downfall. For Sturgeon her shelf life is very short outside of the party and many inside now want her style of management to never be allowed to happen again.

When you meet people socially do you ask what party they vote for..?

Do you quickly walk away if they're 'Mugs'... or do you hang around long enough to point out the error of their ways..?

If a massive brand new camper van appeared next door surely you would at least comment on it over breakfast? And may be wondering why it was actually parked in your driveway?

But there are witnesses who say that she used her position to immediately shut-down questions about financial irregularities.

And she should have known that have the two most powerful people in the party married to each other was a huge conflict of interest. And she did nothing to resolve that.

Spot on.

Never liked Sturgeon, and I do believe she set out to f**k up Alex Salmond to damage his reputation & make sure he could never make any kind of comeback.

Nichola Sturgeon is held in very high regard amongst many Scots, especially the pro-independence ones. It would therefore be a massive blow to the SNP if she were to be tried and found guilty of any crime.

Whilst the speculation persists as to what she knew, or did not know, she still is, under Scottish Law, innocent until proven guilty.

We must therefore trust that the Scottish Police Authority, which is an independent public body, will do its duty without fear or favour. Scotland is, after all, not South Sudan, Somalia, Venezuela or Trump's USA.

She has been Teflon in the past but many now are asking how she did not know or why she did not ask any questions when, for example, Murrell bought a brand new Jaguar I-pace for £81,277 which cost nearly half her annual salary.

No wonder Sturgeon was so keen to keep the media agenda aimed at Boris as it deflected everything away from what she was up to.

So you are saying Ms Sturgeon is not highly regarded in Scotland and if she were to be convicted it would not be a massive blow for the SNP. Interesting point of view.🤔

She is not on trial, that was not said, but the Police and Procurator Fiscal may go that route in the future.

Just look at the fallout of the Mandelson debacle. It doesn't take someone being on trial themselves to stink of corruption by association, enablement and turning a blind eye... And for suspicion to follow them.

I don't believe it would make much difference if she was eventually convicted or not, I do believe she lost all credibility after the gender recognition fiasco.

So no, I don't think she is highly regarded and no I don't think it would be a massive blow.

Some may hope it would affect the SNP significantly... I can't see it.
