Damning conclusions from the official Inquiry into the Southport murders by Axel Rudakubana in 2024.

Quite clear the murders could have been prevented if multiple authorities had acted correctly after his previous violent attacks and threats.

Some failures to act were caused by fear of being called racist.

Multiple referrals to Prevent anti terrorism programme without any action.

His parents heavily criticised for their lack of action.

What consequences should follow and will anyone be held to account ?

Should his Rwandan parents, who were given asylum by the UK, now be deported ?

Rwanda? I thought the lad was Welsh.

Certainly looks like the police should review the case again and consider prosecuting the parents.

Not clear at all why, even in cases where asylum is granted on legitimate grounds, they aren’t deported when the country they have “escaped” from becomes safe again. Rwanda is a popular tourist destination nowadays so no idea why there are any Rwandan “refugees” living in the UK.

As for the failed state institutions just another day in Broken Britain unfortunately, anyone found to be incompetent should be fired and have their pension taken off them. Sadly they have likely already been promoted elsewhere.

Genuinely appalling if predictable response. This was an Inquiry into the murder of three children and this a thread to discuss the conclusions. Contemporary press reports of the Inquiry say:

"killer’s headteacher “agreed to remove the word ‘sinister’ and comments referring to Rudakubana as ‘cold and calculating’ from an education plan after mental health workers accused her of racially profiling a black boy with a knife.”

The failure to properly diagnose Axel is given by the Inquiry as one of the key failings by public bodies.

I know whatever point I make will not be acceptable to all but I will link directly to the Inquiry archive when time allows.

No mention in any reports including the mail of this claim that mental health workers said she was racially profiling him in relation to her use of the word sinister..

I think that has been made very clear. Three children dead and pissing on their memory for comic effect.

You lied (once again) when you added a racist trope about the killers race being part of the failings..

Using their utterly sad and atrocious murders to do that..

Why?

You have no moral position to call anyone out..

You clearly didn't read the evidence to the Inquiry given by Headmaster Joanne Hodson. But we can see clearly now where you stand so your contribution wasn't entirely wasted.

In her opinion..

The findings do not reflect it..

Yet you searched for it ..

Own it tall..

Own the depths you've sunk to..

You accused me of lying.

I've told you the source.

Now you're accusing the witness to the Inquiry of lying, a professional person who was clearly deeply affected by this tragedy.

I feel no further comment is needed.

Actually she doesn't say what your claiming?

Can you show specifically where she said what you've claimed please?

I have replied to this point to Rugby, but if you believe she doesn't say what I'm claiming then perhaps you could save me some time and link to her evidence?

I've read several different media outlets directly reporting what she said on the day she gave evidence..

None of them say anything like what you've said..

Where did you read what your claiming?

Stop deflecting and trying to obfuscate and simply say..

The answer is above, the source is the contemporary report from the Daily Mail."

Read it, its not there what your claiming.

Your post opened with

You know as well everyone else that a single piece of witness evidence is not a "damning conclusion from the official Inquiry" by any stretch.

Even the Daily Mail stopped short of making that claim.

So why not hold your hand up to lying?

That is literally a verbatim report from the Mail ! We can debate this in good faith or you can derail the thread with some curious personal obsession, its your shout.

In the interests of fairness, and as Ive responded to all polite posts, could we now have any links to show that Nigel Farage was responsible for the Southport Riots, or any evidence that this is mentioned in the Inquiry with which the thread is concerned?

One comment about profiling doesn't prove there were failures to act because of race and what you seem to be impying in your OP. If it was relevant it would have been in the inquiry summary

For the benefit of doubt for others I did find a link that said the above, it is in the Spectator if you want to read it but as it doesn't totally tie in with the OP comment I am going to shut this now

If people are going to start threads for things like this please get the information spot on when relaying it rather than your own take on it.
