I agree the US only gets a tiny fraction of its oil via the Straits of Hormuz. The UK also gets a tiny fraction of its oil via the Straits and I think we can all agree that all of us are over joyed at the fact that the recent military misadventure has not had any meaningful impact on our pockets as a result of that tiny amount. I can only imagine that the average American is equally as over joyed about the lack of price movements.

Can you imagine the carnage if people were price constrained on a global market rather than source constrained. Good job that oil isn’t priced globally…..

Also a good job it won’t affect the supply & cost of fertiliser & as a consequence, food prices.

We can always eat them solar panels that all the farms are growing these days.

Didn’t someone say spending tens of billions on renewables and taxing natural gas at 78% was going to mean insulation from the global fuels market and lots of cheap electricity for everyone?
