I vote at the Scottish Parliamentary elections am not the General one.

As things stand at the moment it looks like the SNP will easily win this one.

Conservatives are dead up here and Anas Sarwar recently calling for Starmer to resign hasn’t helped his cause. There is more hatred for Reform than the other two combined, unfortunately for Cons is the Reform party is stealing whatever party they had left up here.

So yes, I know a lot of Scots voted Starmer at last GE as a tactical vote to help oust the Tories however, he has proved just as bad if not worse that his own party up here want rid of him

Always vote, only way to have a say. But don't vote to punish or be a bigot. Look for local candidate that has ideas or ideals I like. Apart from avoiding the obvious parties, I vote candidate first, not party

Around 80% of people I speak to who were once Labour voters say they will never vote Labour again.

Labour will get hammered - for many reasons that aren't their fault and for quite a few reasons which are absolutely their fault. I expect the Greens to do much better than expected and Reform to do much worse than expected. Of course FPTP will ensure that we get represented by a party that the majority don't want, whoever that may be

Fingers crossed that the voters have had enough time to see how badly Reform have managed the local authorities they've been in charge of.

And how their Trump and Putin simping leader is a work shy grifter.

But I guess the first was pretty obviously what was going to happen and the second point has been the case for quite some time, and it didn't stop them being elected.

Maybe badly thought out non-solutions to small boat crossings are more important to some than a functioning government and being the lapdog of hostile foreign nations.

Because that's real patriotism.

Also a quick Google shows Doncaster council appears to be a shit show of Reform in-fighting, lies and accusations.

Weird how shouting a out small boats doesn't help you run a land locked local council eh?

But not to worry, they won't be increasing your council tax because they'll get rid of all those pesky woke LGBTQ schemes.

What's that? The LGBTQ schemes never really existed and if they did, they didn't really cost anything?
