On a war that cost $4+ gas and $16 billion in tax dollars. American citizens funded this war. Politicians are positioned to profit from it. This is not the first time. Major announcements have repeatedly been preceded by suspicious market moves tariff reversals, policy shifts, war decisions. This may be one of the most blatant examples of potential insider advantage in modern American politics. You would go to prison for trading on a tip from your cousin. Yet billion-dollar trades happen minutes before decisions like this and no one asks questions. Nobody gets investigated. Nobody gets charged. By tomorrow, this will be buried under the next headline. However, plenty of media outlets saying trading spiked unusually just before Trump put his dentures in. Why would that be, without some kind of insider knowledge? | |||

It doesn't say that all of those trades were shorts (which is what would have made money). Maybe they were, but we don't know. If the BBC's figures are correct, and the trades were all shorts, that's saying that Trump has more than 1600 people that he counts as good enough friends to engage in a criminal conspiracy with them. And that he made sure that all of them knew at the same time, so that the trades could all happen in the same minute, just to make it look extra suspicious. And that none of those traders were clever enough to wait a minute or two in an attempt to avoid detection by the SEC's automated fraud scans.
