Despite his diversionary tactics in the Middle East, Sir Keir has not been able to prevent the publication of damning new information concerning his appointment of Epstein bestie Peter Mandelson as US Ambassador.

Kemi is calling for him to go - do you agree ?

Nope. Who would replace him? Scary thought...

I think the questions that need to be answered are…..

Can the nation survive another 3 and a bit years of totalitarian dictatorship stripping our rights away bit by bit? Or will there be civil war if he stays in power?

And…

Even if he’s replaced, Labour still remains in power for another 3 and a bit years. Is it better the devil you know? Or is there a chance someone with half a brain cell might take over?

Personally I think he’s doing more damage to the labour party than Margret Thatcher or anyone else ever did. I think him staying in power means there will never be another Labour government, ever. But there is a flipside to that. If the boob whisperer were to get in power, he’d make Starmer look like Thatcher. Anyone with half a brain cell would either emigrate or commit suicide if they were to happen

He’s survived the free clothes, the poor appointments he’s made, Rayners tax dodging, the 14/15 policy U turns, the recent by election loss

Jury’s out on the 136 May by elections, but I think it’s a long three year wait.

The utter shambles of the last government has given Starmer a pass on being part of the media inspired hockey Cokey change at the top.

What we are left with is a PM who like all other leaders in the last X amount of years is being shown to be weak, or more human in trait than robotic. It wouldn't matter who else replaced him they would fall into the same process.

Time is ticking and it is in my opinion the responsibility of the people to get behind whoever the elected leader is and stop trying to cut them down because they have a different political leaning. It is in all our interests to have PM that can bring stability and direction, that must be a high bar for achievement when every which way the PM turns he is being pulled apart.

If we want to change our PM the next GE is never too far away.

Just throwing a few thoughts in.

I'm surprised at Starmer's lack of command. He's gone up against a very large fast food chain and supported a few underdogs in his time.

That said, given the indecision and dodgy personnel selections, how much is being controlled by the big money and power players? Hands tied into selections maybe.

It's the fall of the Roman Empire all over again.

Get Liz Truss back. She'll sort it in 45 days

By "people" do you mean the general public, or his MP's or both ?

.

I personally cannot see, nor would expect the general public who did not vote for his party to "get behind him".

.

To be fair, I don't think his own MP's should either. I actually want his own MP's to be adversarial, instead of little sycophants. I want The Leader to be unsettled and looking over his shoulder. That is balance from his own party, and not meaningless soundbites at PMQ's from the opposition.

A Leader should not expect loyalty nor demand it. They should earn it from those they lead.

You approve of the public and media circus that is undermining the credibility of the government for far too long?

Getting behind the government does not mean accepting every decision is correct, it is simply accepting the fact a political party is in charge of the country that you might not agree with through policy.

I approve of any opposition party counter-checking an another. That's the whole point. Scrutiny from all sources and sides Nothing goes unchallenged.

Covering up, Starmer is guilty as hell.

However keep him in office, make him squirm in high office, it gets magnified.

Bring Rayner back into the fold, bang their heads together, then off the ropes to collide again. Like two out of control galaxies colliding.

Let him come out with, my dad was a ... I was a.... and I know what it's like..... line to try and get sympathy.

If you thought the Cons. were chaos watch the next couple of years of Lab.

When he accumulates as much negativity as trump maybe he'll be forced out but nothing Starmer has done compares remotely to tangerine turkey

Trump’s current net favourability on average is around -20

Starmer’s is around -48
